I do have to laugh at them they'd give Leeds a run for their money their delusion is on a par with Coventry fans all thinking how 'massive' they are. Whilst most of us are narked at losing Batth and Weimann to them it needs pointing out both came in here as squad men yet you'd think they'd just ruined our team by paying 5 million a piece for them reading some of their lots comments. Seem more happy to piss Rovers off again than your average dingle. 1 Quote

I'm guessing then, you'd didn't like Kevin Moran or Tony Gale either? I am not assuming that at all. I am saying that it's just as possible for Batth to have a bad season, as a good one. And that this possibility increases with age. Let's just stop the back and forth as it is getting boring. Quote

I really wonder now if Batth and Weimann were appeasement signings done to placate Eustace to prevent him leaving at a crucial time and that Gestede didn't actually want them so in turn low balled the offer made to them both for another season. Quite often there are clauses in older players contracts such as a number of games which automatically trigger another one. It appears nothing of the kind offered to Batth and Weimann. My theory is supported by the latest 'project' as esposed by the three stooges where Rovers are looking to buy/produce youngsters and increase their value to be sold on. Also known as the agent commission model.Β 2 Quote
