Feed the Yak Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago 32 minutes ago, roversinmyblood said: Some Birmingham fans say heβs more of a no. 10 or 8 and is NOT a winger as heβs not very quick but has quick nibble feet which ideal for a no. 10. I think we can make it work with him out wide and tucking in on the attack if our right back bombs on up on the overlap like Britain did. Alebiosu looks like he can do that, whether Miller can I'm not too sure will need to see him play. Quote
Wing Wizard Windy Miller Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago Feel Miyoshi is a little underwhelming especially anywhere around Β£2 million.Β Tidy little player but I feel we'd be better suited by a Kargbo type on the right.Β 4 Quote

Neal Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago If the Miyoshi deal has been taking this long I can't imagine it's likely to get done. 2 million for a 28 year old doesn't sound like the sort of business we do these days. Imagine there's been a lot of haggling over the structure of the deal and add-ons.Β 2 Quote
BankEnd Rover Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago Miyoshi's age concerns me more than anything, he'll be 29 before the season finishes. I know the Japs tend to be a fitter bread than us over here but no real sell on value there either way. Looking at comments and reels, he looks quite nippy and does have a number 10 feel about him. chaddyrovers Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago Miyoshi would be very good signing. Ideal for the attacking right hand side midfielder role. Hope we can pull this off. Quality player Qualify automatically and doesn't need ESC spot 1 Quote

London blue Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago I'm not convinced. He seems to have some attributes and knows the league but hasn't delivered for a year and has had injury problems. If I was in charge of the money there's no chance I'd be forking out anywhere near Β£2m. 5 Quote
DackDackGoose Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago (edited) I'd be very happy with Miyoshi, can't see us doing much better. Good Dolan replacement and we need someone with champ experience. Maybe Brittain sale has released the funds for axel/him/Miller.Β On Axel signing if CM I've always said tronstad and Travis are a negative pairing. Good to have more creative options to rotate in. Maybe this has been recognised rather than planning to offload one. Which will happen next season anyway. Edited 3 hours ago by DackDackGoose Quote

If one is injured, we're in big trouble.Β I feel what we are (always) missing is pace or at least a player with good acceleration/over a few yards (particularly when we now have a few more well-positioned "ball winners" in the side). Fingers crossed we can hope for a more cerebral Dolan replacement (one can dream...) Quote
roversfan99 Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago If we get a player like Miyoshi for the right, it would only heighten our need for another striker with pace. Permanent or loan, either way. 3 Quote

It might have released room on the wage bill but Rudy Gestede said sales would make no difference to this transfer budget. RevidgeBlue Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago As it's the position where we are in the most desperate need, Myoshi probably won't get done. Β 1 Quote
ObiWhan8t7 Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago Agree with most above and that there is no resale value in this lad. Torgeir Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago Miyoshi would be a great signing, but not at Β£2m. Half of that and it's a deal for me. ROVER_N_OUT1978 Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago (edited) Absolutely we need a striker as well as a RW.
