What they don't get rid of now they'll sell in the Jan window i think that's nailed on. 1 1 Quote

Yeah, I don't particularly expect Hyam and Tronstad to see out the season with Rovers, but unless we're about to have a truly chaotic week before the summer deadline I can't see either of them going until January. 1 1 Quote

Thats why I thought a bit further back might suit him, with those late runs into the box. We'll see how he gets used going forward, I think he will only be a bit part player this season with them integrating him slowly to he starter next season as I imagine Tronstad and Cantwell will be off next summer. Bbrovers2288 Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago My early assessment of the incoming players mccloughlin- steady, composed, very good pick up. Really liked batth but appears this was a good swap.Β alebiouso- like his athleticism and physicality. Another good bit of business. I miss brittain but at least we replaced the position well.Β Baradji- looks a YouTube talent, canβt comment till I see a few games for us.Β henrikkson- im worried about this one, he looks clumsy with an awkward running style and just not an athlete never mind a footballer. Think he will be ok but needs to get better fitness and a footballing brain. Birmingham loss was a lot on him for both of those reasons iv mentioned.Β 1 Quote

Batth a rock for us last season by all accounts Derby fans want him out of the team already but he was great for us. Weimann scored important goals for us again Derby fans saying heβs done so itβs about the now as opposed to the past but 4 games shouldnβt really be a gage of anythingΒ Ipswich sheff u Norwich qpr Wrexham all bottom 6/8 at present and not performing particularly well and for the most part a lot of the fans/management for the teams above citing new players and needing timeΒ 1 Quote

He's never a 90 minn player. Also Baath subbed on 70 mins. Ok game dictates who you bring on but although these are two vastly experienced pros, a full game contribute from each is coming to an end. If Baath was playing for us against Brum his experience could have prevent one of the two away goals. Would have liked to keep Baath but not bothered about Weimann - but he scored an excellence goal at dingles. Quote
Roverthechimp Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago Genuine question: would anyone (including Saudis) actually pay money for Buckley? I'm more worried that we will have to pay him off just to get rid... Leonard: was expecting clinical finishing when he got a few chances but was underwhelmed. Throw in the injuries and our current manager's preferences for "physical players" then he really does need to get out of Rovers to have any chance of a career. Do wonder if there may also be a contract related issue (eg if he plays it triggers a pre-agreed increase that we are desperate to avoid for someone that we don't actually believe has a future here anymore) Quote
