So we have a guy, who in his previous stint at Ewood, refused to play, to force a move away.

He then teams up, with the most hated manager the club has ever had, in Australia, where no doubt they shared stories, about how disgusting Rovers fans are.

He then somehow returns to our club, under the guise of gaining some work experience and to shadow the CEO.

Not long after, the CEO is removed and seems to have been all but replaced, by the work experience trainee. He then sets about upsetting people who have been at the club, for many years, in many cases, local people, who have lived in the area, most of their lives. 
This results in many leaving and due the some of them, having close relationships with some of the players, this rattles certain players, who in turn, give Gestede a piece of their minds.

This then leads to said players having their cards marked and being frozen out, or moved on.

Meanwhile the manager carries on unfazed by it all and accepts his lot, in the hope that he can somehow make a silk purse, out of a  sows ear, but his record suggests, we will end up with two sows ears.

Whilst all this is going on, our absent owners, try to persuade a judge thousands of miles away to allow them to have the requirement for a bond to be lifted, to allow them to protect their investment. Rumours then surface, that they are about to be heavily fined and further restrictions, placed on their businesses. Despite this, they still insist the club is not for sale, at any price, so don’t dare even asking if they will consider an offer.

Despite all of this, we are only true fans of the club, if we get behind the lads FFS.

If what Glen tells us is true, and I've no reason to disbelieve a guy who's put so much effort into finding out the truth about what's going on behind the scenes at Ewood, then I'm on the brink of turning my back on knowing anymore shit about our club. It bloody well hurts. 

We've gone from wonderland to fucking poundland in 15 years. 

Gestede had the power to force players and other staff out? Is that within the wankers remit? 

Even Sheffield Wednesday aren't suffering this sort of shit surely.

Trying for a balanced, non-emotive view on this window, and God it's hard when players who have given so much effort leave en masse. 

I think it's fair to say fans were sick of players leaving for nothing. It's also responsible to have an affordable pay structure. However the club clearly has something wrong when it can't retain any senior players. 

The only scenarios I can think of where you'd usually sign so many players is either a) promotion and needing to improve your squad or b) following relegation and an exodus. A) has players you'll have awareness of, we're much closer to which is alarming for a club who nearly made the top 6. 

The board have gone all in on the approach. If it's a bad season it's all on them.

TGH really stood out and rose under Ismael with his defensive abilities in midfield. A real grafter and more in the Travis mould if we are playing with two defensives.

Wow selling Hyam at the last minute is really extraordinarily stupid. Dont think I have ever seen this level of churn at a club not in financial meltdown. But i guess we are in a financial meltdown, just a slow burning one.

That we have managed to spend millions on fees but not be able to get a single senior player to extend their contract in 2 years is completely mad.

But I suppose its easily explained by a low wage ceiling and lack of any engagement and long term planning from the owners. With the new info on Gestede thrown into the mix.

How Gestede, a man with no experience, has ended up effectively chairing the club is another in a great list of Venkys mysteries.

Jeff Stelling just gave us a bit of a mention at the start of the breakfast show, reading out a fans message about Hyam leaving at the death is a disgrace. If anyone else fancies dropping them messages they might get a bit more attention.

The club and some of the fans never cease to amaze me.

If the club put half the amount of effort into running the club properly, instead of faffing about making fake twitter accounts winding people up and posting BS, we'd have the best run club in the country.

If some fans would just open their eyes, even for one second and start blaming Gestede and Pasha, imagine how much traction there would be in removing the owners.

But no, instead-

It was JDT's fault, it was JE's fault, it was Travis' fault, please make it make sense.

Makes perfect sense to me. Rudy is ‘the club’ as he works there. Travis, JE left it, so are no longer the club. The Club must be defended at all costs.

Classic tribal loyalty… endearing in a way, unfortunately these fans have never remembered the famous Bobby Robson quote that ‘WE, the fans’ are the club, its gatekeepers. Just because individuals, could be nefarious individuals, could be incompetent ones, happen to wear club ties they get full throated support.
