neophox Posted Saturday at 16:04 Posted Saturday at 16:04 Burnley need a win against Millwall to win the league if Leeds win tonight 1 Quote
Michael123458 Posted Saturday at 16:04 Posted Saturday at 16:04 It goes to the last day but only a win will do Coventry v Middlesbrough if we don’t win whatever the score in that game it is done. Long shot but fuck it I’m proud of these boys and I still think we’re gonna finish 6th and play Sheff utd over 2 matches first at ewood fucking l fire…. RTID 1 Quote

He deserves the start of next season Kind of had the opposite effect of the new manager bounce, the disruption killed off the season. I'm still not convinced by Ismael, but four wins on the bounce including against teams immediately around us does buy a little breathing room. 3 Quote
Popular Post Ferrit Posted Saturday at 16:05 Popular Post Posted Saturday at 16:05 (edited) Watford crying at the end they can fuck off, easily could’ve been down to 9 and were play acting as soon as they went 1 up. Shove it up your arse. Edited Saturday at 16:05 by Ferrit 11 Quote

Proud's the wrong word IMO after all the defeats and abject performances this season but yes, it has to be acknowledged we've done well to be in contention from where we were 5 games ago 3 1 Quote
Andy Posted Saturday at 16:05 Posted Saturday at 16:05 4 wins in a row and a point off the top 6, going into the final game. Literally none of us expected that a couple of weeks ago. 9 Quote
neophox Posted Saturday at 16:06 Posted Saturday at 16:06 We go in to the last game of the season with massive to play for as last season...difference relegation battle last season and now a play off place...who would thought that without Wharton and Szmodics quite and achievement. Quote

I think we have a pretty decent chance. Millwall aren't gonna beat Burnley away. Coventry and Boro will hopefully cancel each other out helping us sneak 6th against Sheffield United who have nothing left to play for. Edited Saturday at 16:06 by waynerovers 4 Quote
joey_big_nose Posted Saturday at 16:06 Posted Saturday at 16:06 Really remarkable win when you consider how rarely we get 3 points after going behind. 4 Quote

SuperBrfc Posted Saturday at 16:07 Posted Saturday at 16:07 A massive three points. Unbelievable to think we are still in it when it looked like the season was over. Have to give credit to Ismael and the team for the late surge, despite how his reign started. We owe Sheff Utd and Wilder one. Bring 'em on. Also, how brilliant would it be if PNE, yes PNE, were to help us make it into the top 6 and go down at the same time. Their forum would explode. Roll on next weekend. 1 Quote

roverandout Posted Saturday at 16:09 Posted Saturday at 16:09 Sad that we need Preston to win next Saturday. They're away to Bristol. Love them to go down Quote

We've come a long way from me thinking we wouldn't win a game under him this season though. (Half time v Sheff Wed.) 3 Quote
Backroom Mike E Posted Saturday at 16:09 Backroom Posted Saturday at 16:09 Feel dirty saying it but we need Burnley and Boro to win next week 🤮 as well as win ourselves, so it’s incredibly unlikely. 1 Quote
sharpysharps86 Posted Saturday at 16:09 Posted Saturday at 16:09 Well done Rovers! I might not particularly like Ismael's demeanour but credit to him for turning things round after an awful start to his time at the club. With how Dolan is finishing the season its a real shame he probably isn't sticking around. 5 Quote

That defeat at home to Cardiff looks so awful now, given they've not win since either and gone down today. Throw in the home defeat to Hull as well, two games of a handful that I think we'll look back on as 'what if' moments. Edited Saturday at 16:12 by sharpysharps86 7 Quote

Backroom Tom Posted Saturday at 16:18 Backroom Posted Saturday at 16:18 Amazing how many intertwining stories there could be next week, a lot depends on tomorrow, a Leeds win means the top spot is very undecided and a couple of the clubs playing next week are fighting for survival or play offs 2 Quote
dallydally Posted Saturday at 16:21 Posted Saturday at 16:21 We still have it all to do but at least we have given ourselves a chance We are well above Sheffield United in the form table and they will have their eye on the playoffs starting Could be a good time to play them Quote
Backroom Mike E Posted Saturday at 16:22 Backroom Posted Saturday at 16:22 I recall being told if we had a chance of the playoffs going into the last day, then Ismael has been a success. It feels both a success and not, so far. But he has earned til January before he is driven out by lies to a relegation threatened Birmingham City… 2 Quote
