Ah OK-thanks. Without checking I would say it's very much the norm to get one home game on the 26th/27th or 29th/30th though. Edited 20 hours ago by RevidgeBlue 1 Quote
simongarnerisgod Posted 20 hours ago Posted 20 hours ago they don`t seem to schedule local derbies at christmas or easter anymore,i remember playing pne on a boxing day once (in a snowstorm!!!) and we always used to play bolton or burnley on the 28th Quote

Hull, it depends how well they take to their new manager I suppose. Edit: Dire fixtures over Christmas. Middlesbrough and Sheff Wed away. Have to wait until Jan 1st for a home game. I'm not sure if I can ever remember that happening before. I'm less worried by our start. Hull were poor last year and Norwich and West Brom have under achieved the last few years. Whilst bigger names in this division and historically they've challenged well thru haven't pulled up any trees the last couple of years. It's the finish that worries me. Can't see us getting much out of it and they're teams that likely will be around the top. Quote

Mercer Posted 18 hours ago Posted 18 hours ago A tough start and a tough finish to what increasingly looks like being one feckin hellish season. Not seen any relegation odds for Championship yet but think Rovers and Sheff Wed will make a tasty and profitable double! 1 Quote
sharpysharps86 Posted 18 hours ago Posted 18 hours ago That's a rough start and an even rougher finish. 😂 Good luck to them! Quote

Edit: blimey that run-in is the thing of nightmares. BIg Club's first away game - will have large following. Wait for club announcement we're giving them the Riverside as well 😉 Quote
superniko Posted 16 hours ago Posted 16 hours ago I've found the bit where we're on the edge of the playoffs and then implode in February / March across a load of winnable fixtures after not spending anything in January. 3 Quote
superniko Posted 16 hours ago Posted 16 hours ago It all feels a bit 'meh' with no Dingles, Bolton, even Wigan and Blackpool. PNE away in the middle of the most depressing month of the year. Two midlands clubs at Easter, Yorkshire and Humber over Christmas. They could be worse trips, but it's still just a bit shit. 3 Quote
Ianrally Posted 13 hours ago Posted 13 hours ago Leicester st home on the last day. Remember two seasons ago when we avoided the drop with a totally unexpected away win at Leicester. Rolls reversed this season then, they win at Ewood and avoid the drop but we go on and get promotion. Well you have to dream positively! 3 Quote
chaddyrovers Posted 12 hours ago Posted 12 hours ago decent enough first game and not a long travel for fans, a couple of hours. 8 hours ago, RevidgeBlue said: Edit: Dire fixtures over Christmas. This happens every year, you either have the game at home before Christmas and New Year day or you have Boxing day game and the game between Christmas and New Year. Been like that for a while 7 hours ago, ... said: 150th anniversary game will be a belter anyway! Derby county very interesting game for the anniversary game. One to look to with former Rovers head coach in the dugout and some former Rovers players on their team Quote
Mattyblue Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago Surely January and February are the most depressing months of the year, no? Quote

Been like that for a while This isn't true. It has been like that the past two seasons, but before that it was how Rev described for the previous 4 seasons, 19/20, 20/21, 21/22 & 22/23. Quote
