rovers11 Posted August 30 Posted August 30 Feel sorry for the fans who paid good money to go to the game. Game over after 45 mins. Quote

Lovely way to waste an afternoon. Well, that's one take. Mine is that we have yet to have a shot on target and whilst the possession may be equal, they've looked twice as threatening as we have. 4 Quote

Piss poor squad with no creativity and in addition to that a poor manager with no real idea how to make the most of such a poor squad either. I was worried before the start of the season but Ive seen enough in the games so far to think we wont go down. Terrible first half today though, hope i am not revising that opinion! Quote
chaddyrovers Posted August 30 Posted August 30 McLoughlin didn't need to foul him..stupid foul. Sergeant has been shit in front of goal before that. Quote
RoversTilliDie Posted August 30 Posted August 30 Another wanker of a ref to the collection, he fell outside the box and dived into the box. Quote
Gordon Ottershaw Posted August 30 Posted August 30 They should be ashamed and embarrassed after that. Pathetic. 1 Quote
USABlue Posted August 30 Posted August 30 Well that's a first, I've stopped watchin. That was awful, we have a couple if players that look to have some talent but little smarts and no heart. Lucky to be only 1 down. Done with Rovers for today. 1 Quote

BankEnd Rover Posted August 30 Posted August 30 Poor from McLoughlin...But we've been terrible, albeit in poor conditions. Kargbo has been terrible! Quote
Ferrit Posted August 30 Posted August 30 (edited) Never surprises me how thick footballers can be, if he’s going through let him go ffs We have been trash though, utter garbage. Edited August 30 by Ferrit 2 Quote
Backroom DE. Posted August 30 Backroom Posted August 30 If we're this shit against Norwich we're in huge trouble. Hull result was blatantly down to the majority of their squad being unwell. 3 Quote

Possible VAR would of said no spot kick. yes I have to confess I’m not sure on the word of the law now and if it matters where the foul starts or ends as he had hold of him outside then still inside. Either way it’s the most blatant red card and 100% the fault of our lad 2 Quote
Cherry Blue Posted August 30 Posted August 30 Rule should be changed. They got a penalty and playing against 10 men now. Quote

Well that's not the ref's fault - Mclaughlin knows the rules. If it was a pull back/trip as described it's a red. He should take the risk that Toth bails him out. 4 Quote

davulsukur Posted August 30 Posted August 30 Ismael is a pretty poor manager, so the chances of getting anything other than a tanking now are slim. Quote
lraC Posted August 30 Posted August 30 We have been shit today and deserve to be behind. Im watching from abroad on Rovers TV. Seen a few replays and the initial contact, is outside of the box. No pen, no sending off in my opinion. Quote
chaddyrovers Posted August 30 Posted August 30 Not got going attacking wise first half. Kargbo been poor. Not got Cantwell into the game enough Quote

If it meant you can’t have a red for conceding a penalty there’s no incentive not to take a man down when about to score or handling on the line. The rules are fine, our defenders decision was the issue 2 Quote
SIMON GARNERS 194 Posted August 30 Posted August 30 (edited) Looks about 10k on! Can see Norwich scoring again this second half. Edited August 30 by SIMON GARNERS 194 Quote
Bohinen1983 Posted August 30 Posted August 30 I don't blame him, but Sergeant has won that penalty- as most modern footballers do, as soon as they feel someone touch them they go down. Never in million years does a player go down like that 90's backwards. I thought the red card was incredibly harsh, clear goal scoring opportunity? Certainly a good opportunity but he had a defender up his arse and increasingly narrow angle.. Tavares again looking poor, Kargbo too.. Stand outs thus far, Hedges, Cantwell, Alesiou, Ohashi- more for their endevour than skill.. The rest get 5/10 Get new lad on, looks very promising- let's hope he's magician... Quote

You always remember the ones that go against you but conveniently forget the ones that went your way! I'm a believer that over the course of a season things pretty much even themselves out.
