I doubt they'll think like that in India when they have to sign the cheques.

What's a much more pressing matter is the first team is a total shambles at the moment. Have we signed a CEO yet?

How many fewer people are in the backroom staff now compared to under Eustace, JDT and/or Mowbray?

Very disappointed result and performance after they scored. Our heads dropped massively, confident gone.

Why Kargbo went up front god knows but he has no faith or believe in Gueye.

I wouldnt have took Gudjohnsen or Ohashi off. Gudjohnsen best game in a Rovers.

De Neve Our Man of the match.

I think that tells us what the manager thinks of Gueye.

Alternatively, it tells us what Gueye thinks of the manager!

Ismael out yet?

Gudjohnsen and De Neve are both massively short of quality.

Both de Neve and Henriksson look like hard workers but just not enough for this league. de Neve had a good game and has had some good cameos off the bench lately, but we need a bit of composure in the final third and he's not the answer either - neither is Hedges although he's had a good season so far (which is quite telling tbh).

Going to bed, knew we would lose again, but had to watch.

De Neve is absolute dog shit, let’s just call a spade a spade he’s absolute horrendous.

I had zero excitement before the game.  Trundling down in the pissing rain along empty streets to watch a poor standard of football is not exactly enticing.

It looks like many other supporters have lost their mojo as well. I took a long range photo of the Red Rose Executive dining suite about 10 minutes before kick off and not one table was taken, they didn’t even have the tables set out ready for guests.

The other photo was taken on 94 minutes. I would hazard a guess at less than 6,000 actually turned up at Ewood tonight.  Thank you Venkys 🤬

I was confused tonight by Ismaels change of shape after his substitutions. We went from quite an attacking system with two up front to one who was Kargbo. This was when we were losing. God knows where he had Hedges playing as he looked as confused as the rest of us. Then he went from a back three to a back four by taking McLoughlin off and putting De Neve to left back and like for like with Montgomery on for Gardner-Hickman, again when we were losing.

And at 2-1 we game we take everyone back for a Sheffield United corner leaving no opportunity to counter attack.

Nobody will ask the questions so Ismael is not held to account.

I can't fault the players effort tonight as I can't in almost every game this season. But the lack of quality and experience is killing us. I know it's been said many times but the downgrading of so many players looks likely, even at this early stage to get us relegated. Step forward Gestede and Pasha as they both have deconstructed our squad alarmingly.

They neither will be accountable for their part in the whole sorry mess we are in.

In normal circumstances a relegation could mean a change of ownership and a chance to clear out the debris. We know however that simply won't happen here.

Absolutely no chance . He came for his presentation and nothing else

Hard to see how you'd convince a manager to leave a bigger club like Carlise, sigh.

I think Gudjohnsen may of had his best game for us tonight, but that doesn't mean he had a good game!! Signed as a striker, he doesn't really look like scoring. Few good touches and nice cross which led to the goal.

As for De Neve, his crosses were hurried and woeful.

They try. Neither would be particularly good in League 1 which is a worry ahead of next season.

I thought he had their full back on toast all game. Needs to work on his final ball but De Neve is the least of our issues.

Mate he’s a pub player, he’s got zero ability! Running up and down doesn’t make you good. He’s useless.

That was awful starting with initial tv pictures showing very sparse stands - fans voting with their feet and rightly so.  We need even more fans to go missing on Saturday.  Those there should have given Pasha, Gestede, Ismael and the team pelters given what went on in that match - too many of our fans merely offer a shrug of the shoulders and are getting what their indifference deserves.

As for the game itself, if confirmation our Head Coach and our team are a busted flush then this was it.

Diabolical defending, headless chickens in Gardner-Hickman and Henriksson, a brain dead wing back in De Neve (Burrows showed him how it's done) and a dud of a centre forward in Gudjohnsen.  Add utterly bizarre substitutions and it's little wonder the end result was inevitable.  Two of our 'star' midfield recruits missing - Tavares seemingly not even good enough for the bench whilst it would be a surprise to see Baradji on the field of play in 2025.  Only Alebiosu, again, emerges with credit - this lad will be off in January.

We are in one huge, huge  mess.

My only consolations tonight were an excellent curry, a couple of 'Boxers' and a wonderful bottle of red to finish.

I think this is the worst squad rovers have had in my 60+ years of supporting rovers.

Worst thing is there’s no one in the squad or at the club who can turn this around.

He had a good game alright, everything good we did came through him. Last player I'd have taken off.

De Neve actually does get into good positions and has pace. Unfortunately his final ball and general technical ability is far, far below this level. At best he'll get a few lucky bounces of the ball as he did tonight, but he's absolutely not the answer. Unfortunately neither is Hedges, or anybody else who could play on that side of the pitch.

I feel for Alebiosu. The one player who has actually exceeded expectations, and in another season would have been judged as a genuinely great bargain pickup. Unfortunately he's come in at the worst possible time.
