We have relegation written all over us - Ismail is right that we have been unlucky in a number of matches, including tonight - but the truth is we have a distinct lack of quality. A high risk recruitment policy leaving too many untested players bedding in at the same time.

We may yet escape if players start to click - but I fear it will be too late with morale getting lower and lower.

Cant fault the effort - but Ismail needs to go (even if it isnt entirely his fault)

It is his fault. Didn't need to take the job in the first place. But money talks!

I think he is, he stood half the match clapping furiously on the touchline, not sure what he was clapping, I wasn't clapping. His subs were bizarre, we played 10 of the last 15 mins a goal down with no striker on the pitch. The period where we had taken all the strikers off, we suddenly starting putting aerial crosses into the box. Was that his idea too? He's gormless.

Edit - Sorry that you travelled such a long way up for the game to be served that as well.

Im cursed to be fair with travelling up for rovers. 5 loses in a row

Ismael has failed in every job he’s had since Barnsley, with the added red flag that he believes in this ‘project’.

He 100% needs to go, as does Rudy (and obviously Pasha/Venkys but there’s not a chance of that)

I think personally the first X isnt too bad across defence and midfield. The issue is the strikers who get so little change out of a centre back, missing easy chances week after week, and we have nothing to bring on from the bench.

My recipe for survival would be

1) sack ismael and get a manager who does not give away soft goals

2) sign a striker in January with a championship scoring record

3) sign a few experienced mids and defenders who you can bring on to close out games.

Still given the complete rotten setup behind the scenes I think it will be a very tough job to stop the heads going down.

That's the agenda of someone who cares.

That's is not venkys approach. Because if it was, we wouldn't be in this fucking mess in the first place. People who are more interested in having a jolly down Harrods on the company credit card than how the actual team is doing on the pitch.

So I would assume that Ismael will last at least until January, after we've sold any remaining decent players. And they'll appoint Christ knows who, but at that point it really won't matter, well be right up the shit.

And none of us should be in the least not surprised. Because if they were going to do the right thing, they would've done it ten years or more ago

I have never , even in the old leagues 2 and 3 , seen players as poor technically. We are where we deserve to be , anchored in the bottom 3…

…..no skill, no guts, clearly no respect for the manager , no ability to execute a long throw, no understanding of the offside rule, defensively embarrassingly weak , as for the bench none league teams offer more….November 8th will be no celebration it will be another example of just how far this club has fallen . It will be toxic .
We are finished as a club ..and if Chaddy and other one eyed fans can’t see it after that….they never will.

Worst start we’ve had in a long time. And when we do go down, the worrying thing is we won’t come back up. Until these fools sell up which they’ll never do regardless of what happens, the club will be dead…

I'd like to see us in the 4th division for the first time in our history with 2k ST's sold.

At least there might be a chance that the Venkster's would bugger off for good.

But then again.

Don’t forget Pasha’s quote.

Spending money does not guarantee success.

Our subs awful again...their subs changed the game...poor

This team's performance levels always totally collapse immediately after making the substitutions around the hour mark. The players coming on are always downgrades and there is a complete loss of teamwork. The final third of every match under Ismael is a shapeless mess.

Sadly, as bad as this is, it’s only getting worse when the congested schedule hits and our thin squad is further exposed. Without a complete overhaul in January we might be mathematically relegated by the end of February

He should be the first up against the wall. Mind you, there's heavy competition there

It’s true but not spending money guarantees failure

Sheff U were the worst side coming to Ewood this season...albeit we lose the game ..shocking it's down to the manager. I don't think the team is that bad. All players from last season looks worse this season. Charlton has a team thats on paper is quite thin but they are doing well. The problem is finding a new manager who could turn this around and who is available. Who would that be?

Probably not. The losses would be much less and they would say the club has become more self-sustainable. Job done and bonuses for two stooges.

Definitely going down. An absolutely dreadful squad, worse than the one Coyle had. The vast majority of these new signings are woeful.

And made to look worse by that absolute idiot in the dug out. Bizarre tactics and even more bizarre subs.

You might well get your wish mate.

It could actually wake up the happy clappers who purport to support the team.

Who are we going to get to replace him?  The only people willing to take this job are delusional fools. Bad owners, poor squad, falling apart grounds, rotting fan base. No one can possibly believe the owners are serious anymore.
