tony gale's mic Posted April 28, 2011 Posted April 28, 2011 I remember sending Tom Finn an email three weeks before the end of the Ince debacle to sack Ince and bring Sam Allardyce in. I got a personal reply within a couple of days, although he obviously made no comment about the mention of Sam Still, very good of him to maintain correspondence with the supporters.

John Posted April 28, 2011 Posted April 28, 2011 Frustration must be the overriding emotion. Frustration to see so much hard work needlessly destroyed through ignorance and deception. I understand that TF is required to do his job as MD but that his opinion carries no weight. That's the thing, so many people on/off the pitch have worked so hard in recent years to maintain our PL status. Such a shame that extreme idiotic ownership threatens our club – our current wage bill is likely to be horrendous plus if/when we go down the fundamental reason for Venky’s buying us (to promote their own brand) goes up in smoke.
John Posted April 28, 2011 Posted April 28, 2011 Former Southampton-legend Claus Lundekvam is a pundit on Norwegian Television, and he said before the match that he had recently spoken to Gamst about our situation. Gamst said that the players was not happy at all about Kean, and that they did not practice any formation or anything. He also said that Dunn was not fit at all, and that he was surprised that Dunn played that much. MGP sounding pretty down on his blog.
chaddyrovers Posted April 28, 2011 Posted April 28, 2011 Kean press conference from today http://www.skysports.com/video/inline/0,26691,16467_6902300,00.html still being positive BBC page about Kean press conference http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/13225310.stm
Mattyblue Posted April 28, 2011 Posted April 28, 2011 That's funny Steve, you thought there would be no problem AT ALL to get into the top half just a few short weeks ago, now you don't know where the next points are coming from...
SIMON GARNERS 194 Posted April 28, 2011 Posted April 28, 2011 There is then an opportunity to address the various issues, and certainly the owners do need to communicate their vision and hopes to the fans this summer. Sounds like Tom's as cheesed off and totally in the dark as much as us fans!!
John Posted April 28, 2011 Posted April 28, 2011 Jesus, just watched the interview on the BBC website, "get on the training ground again" - completely out of his depth. First question was a follow on from Robbo's comments when he (Robbo) says our situation is now very serious and the reporter, I think, is asking Kean if he agrees. Why was Kean even bothering talking about next season? How in any sense of normality can he stay on as manager FFS! This fraud needs to feck off out of our football club, I have completely had enough of this and his tripe, how the hell have we ended up in this mess
chaddyrovers Posted April 28, 2011 Posted April 28, 2011 This fraud needs to feck off out of our football club, I have completely had enough of this and his tripe, how the hell have we ended up in this mess because we sacked SA and didn't get a proper manager in. so the owners and their special friends are to totally blame for this mess!
Backroom Tom Posted April 28, 2011 Backroom Posted April 28, 2011 Not explaining your second account eh Chaddster? It's OK I'm actually Vinjay and Waggy as well. On a serious note I'm really impressed to see Tom Finn continuing where JW left off, why do we have a hunt for a chairman when we have the ideal candidate sat at the helm at present?
mode_m Posted April 28, 2011 Posted April 28, 2011 oh good, Steve Kean says the players are going to roll their sleeves up and try to win....finally! Now that they are going to be on the training ground I'm convinced victory belongs to Blackburn. I wish they would have tried this approach sooner in the season. Rovers 4 Bolton 0.
Mercer Posted April 28, 2011 Posted April 28, 2011 I'm sick and tired of listening to Kean's verbal diarrhoea. I think that he's getting increasingly edgy and desperate.
SIMON GARNERS 194 Posted April 28, 2011 Posted April 28, 2011 Keans like a stuck record.. training ground, training ground, training ground, training ground, training ground, training ground Just p1ss off Kean and do us all a favour.
chris Posted April 28, 2011 Posted April 28, 2011 I wonder if he knows its mathematically impossible to get into the top 6. He is probably still aiming for that. anyway he has to be positive, hard to knock him for that.
Mercer Posted April 28, 2011 Posted April 28, 2011 I saw a black BMW, registration XX SK, parked in a very odd place in Blackburn this evening. I don't know if it was Kean's but very surprised to see a car of that status parked in that area of Blackburn.

Stuart Posted April 28, 2011 Posted April 28, 2011 Very ominous. If it was Clayton Street, it was probably someone else..
92er Posted April 28, 2011 Posted April 28, 2011 Not around Bank Top was he? Maybe he had a late appointment at the Community Centre to up date his CV.
Silencio Posted April 28, 2011 Posted April 28, 2011 come on, where was it you can't get in trouble for mentioning it as you have only mentioned the number plate...
47er Posted April 28, 2011 Posted April 28, 2011 Couldn't be Steve anyway, he's in for the night watching old MOTD videos.
Mr. E Posted April 29, 2011 Posted April 29, 2011 "People are gonna say we haven't won for X amount of games". The poor fella, people bothering him about little statistics, like our worst run in the Premiership since we got relegated.
bigbrandjohn Posted April 30, 2011 Posted April 30, 2011 Pretty fair article on our plight and Keans flights http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/football/teams/blackburn-rovers/8483894/Blackburns-chickens-coming-home-to-roost-as-Rovers-start-sinking-towards-the-relegation-zone.html

Bobby G Posted April 30, 2011 Posted April 30, 2011 He's opened his mouth again and virtually said Phil Jones can leave if he wants to. Sickening.
chaddyrovers Posted April 30, 2011 Posted April 30, 2011 the sun articles about Keen on owners and jones http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/sport/football/3555330/Steve-Kean-keen-to-keep-Blackburn-starlet-Phil-Jones.html http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/sport/football/3555610/Steve-Kean-insists-Venkys-are-sticking-around-at-Blackburn.html I wish kean would shut the hell up now!!! And I can't believe that the owners and kean have not spoke about Relegation.
Amo Posted April 30, 2011 Posted April 30, 2011 What was so wrong about that article? The comment by the United fan is the scandalous part.
