Expect Kean to do a presser tomorrow saying nothing has changed and the owners back him even if he really is on the brink

Knowing our owners they will believe him as well

and Sherwood 4/6, described by Nicko as ' significant'. Here we go again :-)

Off topic - sort off: Never understood the british odds - does that actually mean you only get £4 if you bet £6 - and win?

Yes, plus your original £6 back

Incredibly quiet today.

Just feels like the calm before the storm when a whirlwind of emotions will be unleashed.

Got the champers on ice !

Absolutely, it's totally predictable - he's going to do the press conference tomorrow, say his future hasn't been discussed, say he speaks to the owners every day and there's no issue - and this place will go in to meltdown.

Don't know why but I've just got this feeling he's going to have a breakdown during the press conference

I just hope he doesnt start banging on about how hes the victim, when he has victimizer

You know, you might be onto something there.

Hence the 'last minute' phonecall to scupper the sacking last weekend - a reminder that they'd have to pay an exceptionally high amount of compo for sacking him.

Also fits Agnew's smug 'Kean will never be sacked' comment.

However, nothing to stop Venky's from putting the weasel on gardening leave, particularly for his own health and safety's point of view...

Just a theory, but what if Kean is a shareholder in Venkys London having put cash into the purchase of the club.

Puts his shares in his wife's name for tax or other peculiar purposes and in accordance with the type of corporate governance Venky have elsewhere, all major decisions on the running of the business need full shareholder approval.

If Mme Desai had the agreement of the family in india to sack Kean, prepared the paperwork, press release etc and was then reminded that she needed to get the approval of Mrs Kean (as a shareholder) to action the decision then there may have been a phonecall, there certainly wouidnt have been consensus, a majority sharedholder decision wouldnt be 'approved' hence sacking is postponed and the half wit keeps his job. In this circumstance, all the while \Kean is married he is all but unsackable.

The negotiation might be for the purchase of the Kean shareholding in order to rid the club of the manager with a unanimous agreeement of the shareholders.

Now where can I find out whether Kean or Mrs Kean is a shareholder...........

Not a chance. He'll be bold as brass and full of ###### as usual.

I know its only a theory but how much cash would be needed to weild such power? And would a lowly coach with a wife, kids, mortgage and a dog to feed be able to wrangle such monies?

Surely he would need a reasonable whack, way beyond what his pay grade would allow?

Presser is at 9am tomorrow- and Stevie is expected to take it

Don't be surprised for him to give a interview calm and deny every rumour and say that his futures never been spoken about. I'm gearing up for an all time low after his conference, if the last 22 months is to go by I'd b correct

Tempted to go on a media black out tomorrow, his presser will be too cringe worthy - he will defo highlight our amazing start to the season and how we are joint 2nd, saying if we keep going like this we will end up promoted.
