[Archived] Shaw, Agnew and Bowyer summoned to India

Bowyer's just allowing himself to be manipulated into being Steve Kean Mk II to be honest. He may not be as much of a nasty piece of turd, but he'll be seen as a puppet if he isn't careful.

Are you really unable to grasp meadow's point? He was simply pointing out that Agnew was in fact not lying (for once) when he said he comes from a Rovers supporting family, and used to be on the terraces back in the day. Nothing else. He even specifically said "I can't defend anything he's done since coming working for Rovers". And yet you keep on aggressively looking for answers to a question he's already answered?

Oh and "war and peace"? None of his posts on the topic have been more than a couple of rather short paragraphs. I'm looking at my copy of War & Peace right now, and it's a fair bit thicker than that.

So he supports/supported rovers, he's still a horrid slimy @#/?.

I'm pretty certain there would have been a bigger reason for Agnew to take Bowyer over there, Wouldn't be surprised if he went over to discuss terms to a contract in principle and will be the manager next season as when/if we get relegated(again) I cant see them shelling out for a real manager whilst where in div1 And if we don't get relegated then Bowyer will rather pathetically be made out to be a saviour by Agnew(he will then have bowyer under his spell-kean#3)

Agree. I think this was partly a crisis meeting in preparation should the worst inevitably happen. Bowyer will take the reigns and be in the firing line when the sales start. I actually think he will do ok in league 1 if he has something to work with. Sadly he'll probably be working with his youth team on a first team basis. Treble drop anyone ?

Another 11 O'Clocker then? I reckon it'll be the usual ramblings of someone trying to make sense of the Venky's ideas and getting lost in details we all know.

story from Nixon in tomoz mirror

'tomoz' what does that mean?(get me the enigma machine, I'll crack that @#/?)

p.s.

do any of these stories get printed in the actual paper or do they just go up on their site?

does anybody other than us fan really give a @#/?, so what if there's a little article in the paper, most non rovers fans will just have a glance(and a giggle) and then read the next crappy article(which is usually something about a no-mark England international shagging his neighbours, best friends parrot or such like!)

I neither know nor particularly care & have more personal reason to dislike him than any of you lot on here but all Im saying is when people just mythologise and make stuff up about people it makes me wonder how much of the Kean/Anderson conspiracy theories is also just people's twisted misery about our club being a shambles coming out as wishful thinking

at the end of the day we are a very badly run football club with terrible owners who've dealt with avaricious agents, signed bobbbins players and paid everyone handsomely and appointed shocking managers, one of whom was let loose far far too long and we face financial ruin

but broken any rules/laws other than just let the wrong, wrong, wrong people steward our club?

Probably as much fantasy as imagining Agnew was a schoolboy PNE fan from Lostock Hall

that of course must remain their own business but your infantile metaphors and such just make you sound childish and as steeped in fantasy as many of the other posters

kiss my arse you pompous prick

I thought I made it quite clear that I have no time or regard whatsoever for him or anyone else involved or employed by Venkys

I happen to think we're bust and pretty sure to be at best in Admin within weeks

Arguing whether the bloke remembers Jimmy Fryatt or not wont make much difference to that

Meadows, I respect the fact that you had the spunk to confirm that Agnew is a long standing Rovers fan after all and that being the case you are dumbfounded by his actions during the past 3 years.

The point was how could any self respecting Rovers fan condone and oversee this charade?

I don't expect an answer but the man is clearly not a fan in the true sense of the word. He's more akin to a capitalist communist.

Fan division that the '50 years loyal rovers fan' would be most proud of.

I'd be pretty sure that Nixon's mirror piece will be an Agnew counter punch. If it's as well composed as his LT 'appeal' from today it'll continue to expose him for the shyster he is.

Whilst we're all awaiting the '11 o'clocker' might be worth considering:

We might have a touch less Shebby in the immediate future but will he still be slithering in the background? Bit like prior to Christmas when Shagnew appeared to have the whip hand and then out of the mist appears the specky @#/? and fires Appleton. Who's on top?

Pertinent questions for Shagnew, whilst Singh never returns, should be

What plans are in place to stop the train heading for Armageddon?

Can you guarantee that the current owners will financially underwrite the club's current debts and future commitments sine die without any detrimental effects on playing staff, coaches or the general club infrastructure?

Can you guarantee that you didn't go to India to be complicit in a plan to decimate the Club further?

I always thought there were rules on this mesageboard about not insulting posters. Why is this individual allowed to spout such vile language against another contributor?

Surely there ought to be exceptions to the rule when it was clearly aimed at one of the 3 musketeers.

Aye he's doing his best for the fans.

Seems to me like this particular bus is being driven by 3 very self motivated individuals who are taking turns at being the driver. Only thing is, it is set on a particular destination and all they are actually doing is pressing the accelerator. Now the big question really is, have any of these three really got a license from the tour operators ( ie venky's) to do what they are doing or are they all just individual mavericks.

Whilst we are told by shagnew that the owners are committed, how much of this is from the horses mouth and how much is cover for their own personal gains.

Personally, I cannot see any redemption for us as the owners will not accept they have cocked up. Soon the bus will stop long enough for the player offload and then career forwards to the inevitable cliff face.

Nicko's Rovers articles are always a let down. Always full of stuff we already know from being on here...

Nixon writes rubbish, always has, always will.

If you look back at what I wrote I simply asked if he supported Agnews position in all of this, he did say he's done nothing good since joining the club youre right, but that could be because he's not been allowed or as we all expect is keaning useless.
