koi Posted September 1, 2016 Posted September 1, 2016 I think it's very clear now that the Venky's have noting like the wealth that's been claimed.

Stuart Posted September 1, 2016 Posted September 1, 2016 So what are you doing Stuart? I'm happy with my position so I assume you are happy with the plan of action you are taking, which I would assume is boycotting at the very least. An ignorant and evasive response, which is a shame as I thought my question was polite, clear and simple.I have joined the protests and marches when people sneered and shouted AT other Rovers fans for getting on board early. "We Want Venkys Out" is not a new thing. It was invented several years ago. I honestly feel like I made a stand and lost against a tide of apathy - although I am proud that I can say I believe I helped to put pressure on removing the hugely overpaid, under-qualified charlatan whose presence was an insult to ticket buying fans. (I could ask what you did then? But what is the point?). I'm talking about the here and now - or the near future. At what point would you take a stand? Acknowledging that you will never boycott, if there was an organised protest/demonstration/march, what would the circumstances need to be for you to take part? Although you did mischievously 'concede' that a Venkys announcement that they would leave if there was a total boycott would prompt you to join (knowing full well it would never happen), you have been evasive and deflected this for some time. However, I feel it's a very important question as you represent a group of fans who really need to be on-board for anything to succeed.
Iceman Posted September 1, 2016 Posted September 1, 2016 Coyle "I wish I had the budget the previous managers had year after year, but we haven't." And let the excuses start
1arC Posted September 1, 2016 Posted September 1, 2016 "I'm hopeful something can be resolved to have Ben at the club long term, and it protects an asset," Yeah I picked that up to. I bet none of us can wait to cheers our assets on to another 0 points next time out.
tomphil Posted September 1, 2016 Posted September 1, 2016 Lamberts sales and spend budget was almost identical surely ? Only difference a few more quid on wages for a few less loans ? Bowyers last budget can't have been any different either. @#/? off Coyle !
1arC Posted September 1, 2016 Posted September 1, 2016 Coyle "I wish I had the budget the previous managers had year after year, but we haven't." " I wish we could invent 10 more games, then we could go on a winning run, but we can't". Notice the similarities?.
Gav Posted September 1, 2016 Posted September 1, 2016 "I'm hopeful something can be resolved to have Ben at the club long term, and it protects an asset," Really surprised Marshall didn't go in the window, I guess nobody came in for him, because any offer would have been accepted I'm sure.
Iceman Posted September 1, 2016 Posted September 1, 2016 Really surprised Marshall didn't go in the window, I guess nobody came in for him, because any offer would have been accepted I'm sure.Screw it, i would rather Marshall leave on a free, than get a fee for him
OJRovers Posted September 1, 2016 Posted September 1, 2016 Really surprised Marshall didn't go in the window, I guess nobody came in for him, because any offer would have been accepted I'm sure. He's been useless on the pitch this season, so any scouts watching were probably put off.

Giant Posted September 14, 2016 Posted September 14, 2016 Coyle must have known the financial position when he took the job on, as well as the incomprehensible attitude of Venkys, so to whinge about previous managers' budget is a bit rich.
