Not the clearest series of messages I agree. We’ve (BRFCS) been told by a strong, regular source and sense checked it that John Eustace has agreed to take over if/when JDT leaves. It wasn’t discussed in the meeting yesterday, it’s information subsequent to that.

I thought Birmingham were terrific at Ewood when we played them in the league last season. Kaminski had his best game in a Rovers shirt as we won 2-1, but they were fantastic.

Here’s hoping he does well.

Just looking at Birmingham’s matches that he managed this season.

At the start of the season they went four league games unbeaten (W - 3/D - 1).

Then they went 5 games without a win (L - 3/D - 2),

With his last two games being wins, putting them into the play offs.
 

I remember at the time it was reported he was going to be sacked during the bad run and then they won those last two games.
 

Sacked him anyway on the back of two wins and he left pretty much a hero.

Possibly Eustace is the best we could expect in the circumstances.

Having said that it solves nothing. We need some battling performances from players who aren’t capable of it.

Eustace as good an appointment as any at this point. It won't be pretty at times but that's where we're at.

If it is Eustace then he should be welcomed as that's more positive than I feared. 

However it is not dealing with the main problem and I am sure his agent will ensure he has a severance clause in his contract stipulating that if Venkys so much as break one promise or lose their case in India, he is entitled to leave with a big pay off.

I'd also insist on direct comms with the owners & a guarantee from them that if they lose their case in India they put the club up for sale at face value & write off any debt they have lumbered the club with so that we can move forward with a clean slate.

That's the only way I'd be persuaded to come here if I were him.  And I know it wouldn't happen.
