As always, I don’t want to be “ITK” (only @unleaded gets that title here imo), I’m just passing bits on that I get through WhatsApp / Twitter / BRFCS which I only get because I own BRFCS, not because I’m important

I once tried the whole ‘ITK’ thing and it’s bloody hard work trying to link all the tips together to get a credible rumour that you’re confident in. Attempting it has also lost this website some brilliant posters over the years because if you get one wrong, you’re jumped on.

So my policy is just to share everything, unless I’m told not to, and not credit anyone so not to ruin their rep. Essentially I’m only passing bits on I’ve been told and they’re probably not right.

So it’s not banter, that’s what someone has told me. Garrett is good mates with Travis, they car share every day. Maybe he’s (naively) kicked off because his mate has been sent away? Who knows. Consider it a rumour.

What’s more important than that??

Must be getting Isaac Hayden

I’ve read that he has been struggling to get back to his previous form. He was poor at Norwich apparently in his loan there and he’s injury prone so relying on him ( if it is indeed him that could be coming) could be a big mistake.

I was unhappy that Travis was loaned out but loaning out Garrett as well would be bonkers.

Tronstad and Wharton can't play every week and JRC isn't fit to play/injury prone. Buckley is out for months.

Surely, there is no way JDT would allow the club to leave him with just 2 Centre mids?

Why would he kick off that a direct rival for his position has been loaned out?

This is true - and it sounds like Garrett could be off on loan too, which surprises me more.

Well Chaddy had him ahead of Travis as a midfielder, looks like we are losing both! Like you I cannot see the sense of Garrett leaving.

If there is any delay in getting replacements for those leaving or last minute cockups a minute before the window closes we are doomed.

We were already short on numbers alone, anyone see our leaders coping with a significant inflow of new boys of the right quality?

Surely we must have a striker coming? Madness to lose even Leonard if someone isn't lined up.

This would be really frustrating if it's true. We don't have the depth and he is playing well

Not shooting the messenger, I think any rumour is a good bit of info for the board, dont understand the haters.

Leonard leaving on loan would make sense especially if we did sign another striker. Between him, Ennis and Telalovic, you are struggling to make a good Championship striker between them at the moment, theres little between them. Leonard is still so young though and does have good movement albeit his finishing is very erratic. It could do him good to get 20 games elsewhere if we could achieve that.

Garrett would make less sense. Travis is a better player and to let him go was clearly not based on their respective ability at this moment in time. A mixture of finances and the will of Travis to move because hes left a huge hole. I do think like Leonard that Garrett is not quite at the level to play fairly regularly at Championship level but we are already very reliant on Wharton and Tronstad so we would then need 2 incomings there which seems unlikely.

We need to finish this window with MORE players, we dont have enough. Not just a shuffle of 1 in, 1 out.

Chaddy will be fully in support of Garrett going out on loan now.

In that interview with JDT he said Ayari can play 6, 8 or 10 in our system so presumably that where he will be playing .I know little of the player so I'm not judging if that is  a correct decision but with JDT saying that along with other things about him and Brighton saying yes and the player coming here whatever was said must have left them both confident he will see playing time ,and if that's the case less time for Garrett ,only 1 other if any would come in if that happened tho if that's where Ayari is gonna be seeing playing time

Ayari is too small and weak to play anything other than an advanced role.

All the Cov fans said he struggled physically. If that's right and we ship out Travis and Garrett to accommodate him there you can forget about solving our defensive issues.

For me Garrett and Leonard should be staying unless we get in at least two specialists in their respective positions. Both have shown more than others in the squad in their respective positions and if all we're going to do is get youth players on loan anyway we may as well try and develop what we have. Not to mention we've been stretched all season as it is.

Like I said know little of the player just mentioning  what JDT said when Bayes asked him in that BBC radio lancs video interview that was on twitter the other day.

In Ayaris interview he was asked which position he would favour and he said an 8 but is happy anywhere in the midfield

Just logical to believe after what they said when he does get minutes it will most likely be in one of those positions and if they see him as that then if Garrett goes out on loan then only one will come in.If truth to this Garrett story Ayari maybe his replacement in JDTs opinion and another to be added to replace Travis

Two refreshing aspects of the signings so far... the first has become more common in the last year or so, hearing nothing about a prospective signing until they've actually signed. And also, whilst they're only PL loans, we've become accustomed to hearing we can't get those in until Prem clubs make their minds up near the end of the window.

That said, the flipside might be these are two players the Prem clubs were 100% sure they'd have no need of, and therefore aren't as good as some of those who may become available later. But I suspect they were only intended as squad fillers here anyway.

I think we are literally begging players now for little contribution in return for giving them mins.

As i feared it would end like this once we switched the focus to youth we are going to end up with way too many being used for first team places.

Correct they are two who might as well stay we aren't replacing them with anything better if we aren't bringing experience in. They are ou players so wtf is the point n replacing them with someone elses inexperienced and struggling for fitness kids.

Markandy should be down the road somewhere and so should Leo with someone with more experience stepping into his berth for now.

Hayden also has height and experience, two things that aren't welcome here.

But he has a poor injury record, something which is welcome here. He may be in with a chance after all...

Totally agree, left back will be cover and the Brighton lad I think will be useful. Still think we are going to sign at least two more experienced players

I think there will be a sale (Travis wages alone won't fund loan fees and wages, and those figures already gone to the courts).

I think Carter is the likely sale (despite us needing CBs) , and have heard murmurings of us wanting £12 million for him (I personally don't see £3 million in him)

So it's a case of stacking replacements over the next week before pressing the trigger , because a sale if one happens I'd expect to be first half of the window (just my opinion)
