Take it they don't mean one of their own, Pratt, so who are they including in that - Miller/Mclaughlin/De Neve/Ribeiro?

Surely they dont mean Alebiosu either?

No, just the back 3

That's just being negative.

Get behind the ladz FFS

Some of us have been supporting rovers before venkys and have a certain level of expectation of the standards our beloved club should hold and, like many have mentioned, the downgrade of our players, coaching staff, pitch  etc makes it very hard to just “get behind the lads”

of course we all want rovers to do well but we need an increase in standards that will only come with proper investment and ownership

Heard some interesting stuff from a trusted ITK tonight on the going on down at Brockhall - it may be known to some on here so apologies if that's the case.

First team played the u21s in a behind closed doors friendly and lost 7-0....yes 7-0.

Ribeiro went over the top on one of the youngsters with a late challenge and ended up gripping the young lad even though it was he who was being a nob.

All food in the canteen is now halal and this has not gone down well.

None of the current 1st team backline are rated by any of the under 21s or the non first team coaches - especially the new recruits.

That sounds like a load of bollocks to me.

Seems highly unlikely that the first team are playing friendlies matches in a week where we have 3 games.

They played Tuesday, they will have had Wednesday off.

This sounds like bollocks as well. Why would an English football team owned by Indian Hindus make all food be halal?

Because Suhail and Gestede are Muslim, perhaps?

This isn't the first time this rumour has been doing the rounds. I'm sure, it was bollox last time as well, could be wrong on that though.

I was thinking Ismael and Gestede. Not sure Pasha is.

As the date of this match wasn't specified I find the story eminently believable other than if the "Back 3" referred to are "Miller/Mclaughin/Pratt I could understand anyone not rating the first two but not Pratt.

Why would anywhere in the UK ?

But it happens because it's easier and cheaper.

Also, if they are having some halal food (and they will be for Gestede, Kargbo, Gueye amongst others) , it would be cheaper to have all halal food.. economies of scale, and simplifying ordering.

One thing this regime loves is cheaper

Where I would be surprised is if the general staff (in the main) cared in the slightest.  unless they are big on animal rights

The UK government doesn't have a legal requirement to ensure all animals are stunned before slaughter.

  • Around 88% of animals slaughtered in the UK for Halal are stunned first.
  • All animals slaughtered under the Shechita (for Kosher) are non-stunned.

Apart from when they were late to the forum because they had to pray first.

Source is very close to someone who played in said game and not known to be a bullshitter and I don't generally pass poor info off on here.

It's just information, do what you will with it.

Sorry Rev, you are correct Pratt wasn't specifically called out it is more aimed at the recruited players (Miller and McLoughlin especially) who are seen as absolutely shite.

I think Miller has a bit of worth as a right sided centre back in a 3, wouldn't like to see him in a back 4 though. Maybe he would be ok at right back we don't know.

McLoughlin for me though is really poor.
