It's lack of goals that's killing us Chaddy. A perfect plan would have seen us go 2 up or more.

Where are the goals coming from? Defence is always going to come under pressure at 1-0.

Karbgo and Gueye weren't great chances? FFS, does your seat face the pitch?

Until that Penalty incident we were winning the game and if we had defended properly and not allowing Laird into the box I think we will the game, Would you have been moaning about a 1 nil win?

Ismael had his tactical plan and until the penalty incident it was working perfectly

But that didnt happen. I wouldnt be moaning had we won 7 nil playing free flowing attacking football either.

You loved a moan about everything.

Up to the penalty incident everything was in Rovers favour and it look like Rovers win. Something you and others don't focus on just all the negative stuff and we didn't created much yet we scored and were winning and created the best chance of the game until their penalty, yet you and others don't once mentioned that at all. Interesting why that it tho isn't it

When you see young players like Sid who clearly have a bit of talent but are ambling around blowing out their arse and taking corners like that you know exactly why they've landed at a skint circus club desperate for something you can call 'potential'.

But we didn't win chaddy.  We lost - three in a row now.  I love your optimism and wholehearted support for the club through thick and thin - that's how it should be.  But sometimes, a touch of realism is needed.  What I saw today was, in my opinion, a dour affair with little free flowing attractive football to admire.  Birmingham weren't much better, although when the chance came to put us to the sword they did so.  We simply didn't create enough chances and when we do create the odd chance we don't take it.

The three games I've seen this week have done little to alter my opinion that this is going to be a difficult season.  There simply aren't enough goals in this team and defensively we are always likely to concede.  We have lost a lot of Championship experience over the summer and, in my view, haven't replaced it.  Ismael talked about game management and that's something that experienced players are able give you.  Today we were totally naive at the end and it cost us a point.  A 1-1 draw is no disgrace - the old adage - "if you can't win a game, don't lose it" still stands.

In my opinion, we need a couple of old heads, who know what the game is about at this level, before the window closes.  At the moment our squad is wafer thin and injuries and suspensions could see us in real trouble.

Despite my reservations I have my ticket for Hull next week, but defeat there and the alarm bells will be ringing.

You could see a tactical plan today and it worked until the penalty incident.

We should be taking a 1 nil win had we defending properly. Frustrating it was leaving Ewood Park knowing we should have won that game.

And I say my support for this great club will never waiver and I won't walk away for supporting my club. I always been a glass half full pint of person

I hope we can beat Hull and bring home those 3 points. Safe journey to Hull and Back

Well, I watched the West Brom game, the Bradford game and today's shit show. I also watched brums first game v Ipswich.

Absolutely nothing to look forward to imho and those that think Birmingham are the team of the moment must be watching a different game. All 3 games were lacking quality. Poor fare and brum won't get a play off spot playing like they did today.

As for Rovers. It's a gift that keeps on giving. Totally predictable and fecking boring to boot.

Im lost for words. Just nothing positive comes out of our club ever. It's depressing witnessing what's going on it really is.

Rant over.

There’s glass half full and then there’s completely clueless. You’re falling into the second with some of your comments recently.

There will be a defeat Parson because the club is set to fail, I think the owners are annoyed we did not go down last season .

This year they will not fail . I maybe wrong but history tells me i won;t !

Missing from the stats is Brum players falling over at the slightest touch. They were the same against Ipswich

It was never in doubt how good he is at pressing and helping out his full back, it’s just that he’s near useless once we go behind.

Well this is it. He's no highlight reelist but after much flak deserved 👏  for his efforts

Hedges isn’t good enough at this level. I’m afraid Scotty is damaged goods, & we’ve lost other popular players due to injury, that simply weren’t the same afterwards (Dacky comes to mind).

Miller, McLoughlin, Ribeiro, & Hyam aren’t a bad back line, but it appears Hyam is on his way out. Dittos in midfield with Tronnie & Travis.

It’s a mess, guys. We’re 1 point from the relegation zone now… once we’re hit it, we’re not climbing out. how we go from 7th place, 2 points from playoffs to relegation, Rovers Admin & staff are to be blamed.

Only Rovers appear able to get into such as mess as this, in so fast a time.

How can we be a point from the relegation zone when we have 0 points?

Think you have to question why Birmingham get both their goals from experienced wide men running at defenders and either getting into the penalty area and causing panic - one wins a pen and one slides a cross across for a tap in winner. Our wide men - de neve, kargbo look nothing like causing such opportunities and chances. It’s simply lack of talent and experience in recruitment and it’s going to bite us in the ass like so many predicted. So toothless in attack , I really don’t see what our game plan is going to be. Try and nick a goal from 0. Something xg and then hold on for 30+ minutes. Always going to lose more than we win

I'm beginning to get it now. The Raos think that they can save face by running the club down to a point where from a business point of view they can say it is no longer a going concern. Therefore it can be shut down as such, without it troubling their tiny conscience.

The alternative, to sell the club to someone interested in making it work, would involve too much scrutiny of the wrong-doing, the ineptitude, the facts and (crucially) the figures, potentially bringing issues to light in public that they would rather not be faced up with.

So, what we are seeing is the further deliberate undermining of the football club, to salve the pathetic egos of people who long ago realised that they were in over their heads, had been duped and shown to be commercially incompetent, and who now (for a long time indeed) want nothing more than the embarrassment to go away. Fuck the consequences for the true 'owners' and 'stakeholders' of the club (i.e. US the supporters).

Tell you what - the FA should introduce annual 'fit and proper' tests for owners, that actually require realistic and real benchmarks to be surpassed, and commitments to be made and honoured by those claiming to own the 'business assets'.

Wankers. The lot of them.

Nope.

The RAO family and their pernicious and calculated campaign to kill our club through systematic withdrawal of financial support are 100% to blame. Everything else is a side-show to make us think we still have a chance. We don't ! Not under this lot.

To be fair looking at stats like that dont give a true reflection of a game.

I'm as critical as anyone, but when the triple sub was made just before the penalty I was feeling pretty good, thought we had set up pretty well with what is available to us and we're well worth the win. Thought the lads worked there nuts off.

Really liked Kargbo and Hedges being on there correct sides offering a good balance, and even though raw and inexperienced I thought Alebiosu did well too.

Birmingham never looked like scoring until we gave there goals and thats the most frustrating part.

For me, I've seen this kind of team before at Ewood, done ok, nicked a goal, looked fairly organised before throwing it away.

I have a feeling this result will set up how the season is going to go, we're in huge trouble.

A few positives from yesterday:  Cantwell’s distribution, effort and goal; the excellent Alebiosu; and a decent performance from Hedges.

Yuki again ran around like a headless chicken, he contributed little and his positioning was poor.  However it is what is happening behind him that concerns me.  We are so ponderous coming out of midfield and defence with slow movement of the ball and too many touches and passes.  By the time we reach the final 1/3 the opposition have their defensive shape back.

We need experience and guile.  You only get this with experience and virtually all of that is being shipped out in order to reduce the pay bill and replace with mostly inferior players.  As Parson says our cover is thin; it is paper thin.  As soon as our 3 subs came on I said to my mate we are going to blow this.  I am sorry but Gueye is simply not good enough, even as an impact sub; his first touch is appalling and he miss times 90%+ of his headers - perhaps Rovers should should sent a scout to Witton Park rather than France, Belgium or West Africa.

The warning signs are there. Who do we have at the Club willing, able or experienced enough to sort it out? Suhail is not capable…..I would rather trust Mrs Miggins the tea lady with the task.
