Was dreadful play, followed by more dreadful play by others in particular the lazy Kargbo.

Gudjonsson was crap but it was Kargbo's ineptitude that led to the goal.

Some real shite signed this Summer.

Anyone hoping VI gets canned has lost the plot, not going to happen. I’ve actually not felt a manager to be this bullet proof since Kean, to be honest… he seems so deeply engrained with the two in charge, there’s no way they pot him, certainly not this season. Don’t forget, this ownership hasn’t sacked a manager since Coyle.

This one feels like a relegation season. Not playing badly enough for the screw to really tighten on an underperforming manager, but not picking up enough points to move away from trouble. Always someone else to blame for results… I worry hugely about the signings we made as replacements for key players. De Neve, Tavares, Hendrickson are edging toward forgotten men. Miller is out of position (and is it only me that thinks his throw ins are super average), jury out on McLoughlin. Alebiosu the standout signing so far.

I said after the Charlton game, on paper we have a rancid run of games from now until late November. The Championship can toss up real surprises, and one of the games is the currently lowly Sheff United. But at this stage, my instinct tells me we could be deep in the shit by the time the full time whistle goes at the Preston game.

Ismael looked pressured tonight to me. Jumping about blaming the ref (again). I wonder whether he’s starting to realise that the exciting summer might not quite be living up to expectations.

Tonight's Rovers TV post-match interview with Ismael is horrible. He'll now start to put pressure on the new players. After the Charlton game, it was, according to the same Ismael, the wrong thing to do.

Had he had a squad of senior players with championship credentials, they would turn against him now. "Thankfully", those players never received new contract offers/got sold.

.Potter would never touch us would he....

VI is awful but I can't see any manager getting much out of this squad.

A team full of players who can't pass a ball and he's trying to get them to play football.

Wonder if the Club will try to ban Leavers from Ewood?

The only leaver at Ewood should be connected to a trapdoor with gestede standing over it

I'd happily never see Kargbo play for us again after that jog back, watching Swansea score. Disgraceful.

He'll be back against Stoke. Winning, drawing or losing, 60th minute, Tavares, Kargbo, De Neve.

With a damp lime pit at the bottom.

Tragedy unfolding before our eyes and we are powerless to stop it.

Club is toxic from top to bottom. Massive disconnect between fans and club.

Manager is useless but has a 3 year contract.

Let's hope there's enough supporters left to pick up the pieces when the inevitable occurs.

Situation has never been worse.

In the second half, we werent "much better" at all. We was crap all game.

Poor manager, poor players, lets blame everyone but ourselves.

We deserved to lose because our incompetence saw us concede more than the opposition. Im guessing these are more points we can add to our ficticious league table.

Well you disagree with my post but I still by my post.

Its was clear penalty not given, I thought it was penalty in real time and I've seen a replay and its a clear penalty, if you don't think it was, I just give up with you. The Ref was piss poor again at this level.

No one has mentioned about fictious league table apart from yourself so maybe look at yourself here for coming up with this sort of BS.

I actually blamed Gudjonson for their winning goal, really poor to not control in front of goal for one of our best chances.

I blame Karbgo for the game, he gave the ball away and then didn't track back

I’m not sure why our go-to tactic appears to be to smash the ball over the heads of our forwards and ask them to chase defenders down, especially seeing as the one time we actually played a ball into the feet of a player running forward we actually created a chance and scored.

I’m also not sure how Gudjohnsen stayed on for the whole 90 minutes - I’m not sure that he actually touched the ball in the first half and it’s like playing with 10.

Most of all though, I’m not sure why I bothered going to watch. I don’t think there’s one player in that team that I’d be bothered if they left (Tronstadt maybe), I don’t have any faith in the manager, and the board - well the less said the better. It really does feel like the club I’ve supported since I was a boy has died and all that’s left is a rotten shell going through the motions.

That club gas been dead and buried for 15 years.

Repeat that line up from tonight and Stoke will hammer us on Saturday.

We are vulnerable at the back as no combination of any two centre backs are close to what we had with Hyam & Batth. I think we need to go with a flat back three with wing backs. Of course, we are short at CB so until Carter is back, Pickering would be cover!

Ohashi has never looked like an out and out striker to me and always felt he would be better playing just off the target man.

I would try…..

It’s always Alebiosu and Ribeiro getting forward and getting crosses in, so just feel the wide players are pointless and tightening up the central defence and getting Ohashi in to take the burden of TC, who is trying to cover every blade of grass at the moment, would be better.

Just my opinion.

I never said it was or wasnt a penalty. Definitely looked a foul, not sure if it was in the box.

But its this constant deflection of blame that I cant stomach. I dont come away from tonights game thinking about the referee, I come away with further concerns about how I see the season panning out with these players and this manager under this board and these dreadful owners.

Im going to ask you a question and I expect that you will do your usual routine of going off on random tangents. Ismael stands today with a record at Rovers having won 6, drawn 3 and lost 11. This season, he has won 2 and lost 6. He isnt the most pressing issue at the club but ill focus on him just for a moment.

Are you happy for him to continue at the club? Do you have faith that he can turn things around?

And also, how do you reflect on the summer window and how our squad is shaping up, under this manager where do you see us finishing?

On Kargbo, I remember last season after him making a couple of sub appearances, you deemed him a successful signing already and used him as an example of the merits of Gestede. How sadly wrong you was. Hes absolute dog shit.

Really looking like VI is horribly out of his depth, which is perhaps not surprising given his managerial record. We went for the cheap option so this is what you get.

Below average squad, below average manager. If you look at someone like Charlton, for instance, bang average squad but excellent manager at this level. Makes a huge difference.

If you look at the shape of the team when defending counter attacks, it's horrific. We're so exposed and get overloaded. Poor coaching.

Hard to really feel it deeply or care too much as we know this is Blackburn Rovers in name only. It's certainly not the same club I chose to support 30+ years ago. We're a mess at every level so it's no surprise results are dire.

What is really worrying is its impossible to pick out a single player who you could say is going to grab the bull by the horns and fight over the horrible next three months or so.

We didnt have many leaders before but the ones we did have we sold. Now our remaining good players are either checking out of the club and not that vocal anyway (Tronstad), looking emotionally invested but not composed and organised (Cantwell), perpetually injured, (Wharton, Carter), or so new into an incredibly chaotic environment that they dont really have much of a chance to impose themselves if they even have those skills (McCloughlin, Alebiouso, Toth).

We've taken a gamble of massive proportions this summer, and it was very reliant on having a good start and getting the team to settle and build confidence with what effectively is a completely new squad. Now we are on the doorstep of the winter and I am sure Ismael is now looking at the team wondering what on earth he does to stabalise things. He seems quite a one dimensional manager who struggles when his plan A isnt working, and seems to completely lack the people skills of Eustace or Mowbray where they could put an arm around players and boost them when needed. Also stuff that he is supposed to be good at (defensive setup, defending set pieces) are deteriorating which knocks all the confidence out of the players when they can play well for 20 mins, score nothing then give away a goal for free. That isn't helped by all the back five who started yesterday having only 5-20 rovers starts each, and then playing with lots of different combinations of players.

I dont think the heads have quite gone down yet but it's in the post.

Never felt so disconnected with Rovers. Not a single Player in our so-called team I feel any affinity to.This season should be a celebration..its starting to become a wake.

No pride,no passion,stone cold.
