StHelensRover Posted 18 hours ago Posted 18 hours ago Coming out of the ground so relieved we've got a home win, to stop another unwanted record under these idiots. So relieved given how other results went, at one point we were staring at a large gap opening up to safety. Very pleased for the players, we lack quality but they worked hard for that. Having said all that, it still didn't pass the eye test. Armstrong could have had a hat-trick himself. On another day we could have lost that 4 or 5-2. We got away with it IMO, but what a relief. Even when we were winning and at FT, Blackburn End made it very clear that Ismael, Gestede and Owners are not wanted at Ewood Park. 8 Quote

lraC Posted 18 hours ago Posted 18 hours ago TFFT. Its horrible seeing what’s going on, as I hate Rovers losing. It was a mixture of emotions at full time, delighted with the win, but we still have huge problems 3 1 Quote

A single win doesn't change anything!! Yeah my first thought, first time we’ve heard the crowd vocally expressing their thoughts and we go and come from behind to win! Hopefully those with their heads in the sand don’t start to blab about “just get behind the lads ffs”. We really needed that win - it was starting to look like we were getting cut adrift. 2 more tough games then we have 5 of the bottom 8/9 close together which will make or break the season. 3 Quote

metalrover Posted 18 hours ago Posted 18 hours ago Massive win, massive relief. Can't blame the team for the effort, but we were lacking a presence and a cutting edge in the final third throughout. Glad Gudjohnsen got his 1st goal for us. Toth my motm today. 1 Quote

OsloRover Posted 18 hours ago Posted 18 hours ago I think McLoughlin was given the PotM at the ground. Gardner-Hickman for me. Quote
B16Rover Posted 18 hours ago Posted 18 hours ago Toth very good, as was McLoughlin. As much as Armstrong could've had two, so could the Japanese duo Quote

jim mk2 Posted 18 hours ago Posted 18 hours ago Rovers are a poor side so goodness knows how bad Southampton must be. Why some of our fans are concerned for them and their manager only they know. I couldn't care less A totally unexpected comeback win and a very welcome 3 points have to be celebrated but doesn't alter the fact we are desperately short of he quality on and off the pitch needed to stay in this division 5 Quote
SIMON GARNERS 194 Posted 18 hours ago Posted 18 hours ago The amount of chances missed by the Japanese lads was frightening..cant keep doing that! Quote
