How can they not sack him

Because the manager at this club is not judged on results. They are judged on two things:

1. Towing the line and being prepared to work under this regime

2. Creating "assets" that can be sold on for a profit so Venky's don't have to put as much money in each year

That is literally all they are judged on. VI will not be sacked.

Rovers commentary team "That might  just wrap things up for the Swans".

If we get a point from this game I'll show my backside on the town hall steps 😄

This is horrendous. The players all look fed up and like they're going through the motions now.

I get they don't want to bite the hand that feeds them but they blatantly just ignore the glaring issues and it makes them look like complete idiots.

Hyam and batth were playing tonight.  We don't concede those goals

Never has a player improved in 6 months as much as  Hyam.

He was slagged off from dawn till dusk on here and I'm sick of hearing it. What a load of shite.

We have to change the manager now before it is too late. This is about confidence. We are drained of it and demotivated.
Mowbray was too late last time. We can’t make the same mistake again.

He should have gone at the very latest after the Wrexham game. It was clear he'd completely run out of ideas at that point. Should have made a quick appointment even if only until the end of the season and let them assess what was  necessary in the rest of January.

Edit: Oh dear Jorgensen.

Edit Edit:  Never fear, De Neve and Forshaw on. Trying to make it 1-5.

Valerians win ratio before tonight at Rovers

Won.    11

Drawn. 11

Lost      18

Win %.    27.5

Woeful and he would have been home much earlier at many other clubs

I've said it a few times on here but it's always worth repeating. Scores of people applied for the job and this guy was the deemed to be the best candidate.

Blackburn Rovers: Valerien Ismael 'ticks a lot of boxes' as new boss - BBC Sport

"Valerien Ismael's appointment as Blackburn Rovers boss "ticks a lot of boxes" even if it might be considered unambitious, according to BBC EFL pundit Jobi McAnuff."
