I'm not 100% sure Mike, I've got my lad a ST near us in the BBE and asked for a transfer to get him nearer, which they can obviously only look into after today. Currently the boy is 8 seats away (or rather I will be and he can sit with the other "grown ups" who he knows well and I'll take his seat). So I think they allow a couple of days for transfers and the like. A logistical nightmare for the TO staff in all fairness.

According to staff this morning there is a back log due to a high number of late renewals yesterday afternoon. They havent processed those yet.

You say that Abbs but I also think we're in a far better place approaching the new season than we were at the start of last. Mainly for the reasons Stuart lists but even though we must be losing money hand over fist, are Venky's servicing this? Maybe they actually are? Then again they might not be! But all I know is that the club keeps going somehow. I don't think anyone really knows.

If they didn't care one iota would they have got us Cat1 status? Would they have paid for a new pitch? Would they have paid off Murphy, Gomes? Would they have allowed Bowyer to bring his own team of back room staff in and funded the wages of the new players? Would they really be letting Bowyer, on the face of it, just get on with it how he sees fit? Or would they have just walked away by now - leaving us with huge amounts of debt?

This is in no way a pro-Venky's post, they're minutes away from going straight back to square one at any one time. They have that in their locker, we all know that. I'm just putting it out there that maybe, just maybe, it really has all been down to never been seen before levels of idiocy on their part and the fact that they have been completely and utterly fleeced by placing their trust in the totally wrong people (we know who they are). It's one massive corner they need to turn (I said the other day on here that I reckon it could take up to five years to put things right) but maybe they are going in the right direction? Got to be careful here, I'm well aware that they could cock it all up by the time I've finished typing.

They do need to get rid of Shaw by the way. Useless.

Anyway, I reckon you should renew Abbey, if only so you can go with your lad. You did it last season - this one for me is at least shaping up a little better in terms of having a plan and a strategy on the football side and although they haven't splashed the cash in terms of transfer fees they do appear to be allowing Bowyer to bring players in with points to prove and hopefully a desire to do well - which is what we all want to see.

Excellent post !!!

Haven't renewed as I'm no longer living in the UK but would be doing so if I was still there. From a distance I'm getting a feel good factor, despite the whiners being out in force after the Wrexham game.

Looking forward to catching a game when I'm back hopefully.

We've decided not to renew again this season, but we enter into the new season with renewed optimism.

Things have improved with the removal of Agnew and Kean, but with Shaw now running things and Singh lurking in the background surely its only a matter of time until another disaster hits us in our opinion, so for now we'll just sit on the side lines and see what happens.

I would be genuinely tempted this season, as I like how the squad is starting to shape up.

However, it looks like I might be based away from the area with work soon, so I'd hate to pay so much money for something I couldn't use.

I'll get to as many games as I can though.

I haven't renewed, purely because I've got a child on the way and would end up missing quite a few games. I'll still go to Ewood when time allows though.

So someone will get a fantastic seat on the back row of N01 that I've had for years......

Had big argument in gym changing room with a dingle yesterday .. They are massive and should be in top 5 in prem because of their fans .. Abbey blast followed and I drove down to Ewood and renewed .

I now feel dirty and cheap as I was adamant I wasn't going to renew

You know it was the right thing to do Abbs. You would have spent a fortune on individual tickets had you not, and lost your seat into the bargain.
