Plastic Head Posted March 28, 2014 Posted March 28, 2014 What with the giant strides were making, according to Bowyer at least (1 win in 6) im sure we will see these off no problem.

Doug Posted March 28, 2014 Posted March 28, 2014 More posts on a man utd/moyes thread than on our match thread, @#/? poor! Anyway, hope we get something tomorrow, hope Lowe is back as he is our only decent rb.
Proudtobeblue&white Posted March 28, 2014 Posted March 28, 2014 Interesting that GB is saying he has a selection problem, in that all are fit......surely he then has no excuse..... He can put out his best team......the question is, how does he line us up with his embarrassment of riches?
grizfoot Posted March 28, 2014 Posted March 28, 2014 Providing the players that were injured are back I reckon the line-up will be this (probably): ----------Robinson-------------- --Lowe Hanley Keane Spurr--- Cairney Evans Williamson Conway --------Rhodes Gestede---------- You could argue we'd be stronger a team with Dunn & King in the side but Dunn played more or less the full game in midweek and King is still coming back from injury. So I'd expect those both to be on the bench.
West Yorks Rover Posted March 28, 2014 Posted March 28, 2014 Providing the players that were injured are back I reckon the line-up will be this (probably): ----------Robinson-------------- --Lowe Hanley Keane Spurr--- Cairney Evans Williamson Conway --------Rhodes Gestede---------- You could argue we'd be stronger a team with Dunn & King in the side but Dunn played more or less the full game in midweek and King is still coming back from injury. So I'd expect those both to be on the bench. I'd go for Keane at RB then he doesn't need to drop Kilgallon. BTW Keane played right back for Man Utd's Youth Cup winning team in 2010/11, just been reading about him.
roverandout Posted March 28, 2014 Posted March 28, 2014 im going for 1-1 as rovers rarely lift their game against supposedly 'weaker' teams.
West Yorks Rover Posted March 28, 2014 Posted March 28, 2014 If we have a back 4 of : - Keane Hanley Kilgallon Spurr and no Lowe at all, I think we'll win 3-1 or maybe better.
arbitro Posted March 29, 2014 Posted March 29, 2014 I sincerely hope he doesn't manufacture a way of putting the Lowe and Williamson axis together again. If he does it means he has learnt nothing from the last three games. I think this could be a comfortable win if the right team is chosen and the correct tactics are employed.

Unbeaten in 3 since Lowe unfortunately went off injured. Not that I wish an injury on the lad but normal rule of thumb would be that whoever replaced him has earned their place in the side ahead of him.
dingles staying down 4ever Posted March 29, 2014 Posted March 29, 2014 I sincerely hope he doesn't manufacture a way of putting the Lowe and Williamson axis together again. If he does it means he has learnt nothing from the last three games. I think this could be a comfortable win if the right team is chosen and the correct tactics are employed. He has no excuse to do this at all! He has no excuses today what so ever. So my money he'll blame the match officials if it all goes Pete Tong!
JBiz Posted March 29, 2014 Posted March 29, 2014 I think we may draw or get beat today. We lack any element of consistency and after the past 2 decent results, today will be back down to earth with a bang. Most likely followed up with 3 wins against promotion chasing teams then a draw away at Hillsborough followed by defeat at home to Yeovil.... The season can be summed up in this way!
tomphil Posted March 29, 2014 Posted March 29, 2014 Stuart Unbeaten in 3 since lowe unfortunetly went off injured An interesting one this, I wonder how much of it if any is because he's missing out of the team or just the fact that Bowyer is forced to alter tactics when his pet pony is missing which seems to free the team up a bit ? Is it Jason himself or down to tactics again as they only seem to be altered when he's out.
Riverside67 Posted March 29, 2014 Posted March 29, 2014 Can Bowyer find the consistency gear that he has been missing this season? We should be capable of winning v Millwall but with this team you never know. That Incessent determination to win is not a characteristic I see in Bowyer, but you can in Pearson and Dyche
Derbyshire Blue Posted March 29, 2014 Posted March 29, 2014 I'm going for 0:3 to continue our un beaten run to the seasons end. COYB!
Backroom DE. Posted March 29, 2014 Backroom Posted March 29, 2014 It would be absolutely typical for us to lose this one today. If we win then it'll be a positive sign of progress imo.
AllRoverAsia Posted March 29, 2014 Posted March 29, 2014 This post is so this thread can keep ahead of the ES thread for posts. Oh and I expect a Rovers win.
JAL Posted March 29, 2014 Posted March 29, 2014 Would have thought for this game that the team is young enough, hungry enough, with a strong desire to play and enjoy their football today so they can relax, get out there and get that positive result. Dunny led of course most important for Rovers !
chaddyrovers Posted March 29, 2014 Posted March 29, 2014 Rovers team is Robinson; Keane, Hanley, Kilgallon, Spurr; Evans, Williamson; Conway, Dunn, Varney; Rhodes subs:- Eastwood, Kane, King, Cairney, Taylor, Olsson, Dabo Gestede has a groin injury so doesn't play Keane at Right back
Tyrone Shoelaces Posted March 29, 2014 Posted March 29, 2014 Mm, we'll miss Gestede. The bench is a bit thin as well.1-1 draw for me. Prove me wrong Rovers.
Backroom Tom Posted March 29, 2014 Backroom Posted March 29, 2014 Varney has been useless so far, today's the day to prove otherwise Think he'll bag a goal
Darwen Rover 007 Posted March 29, 2014 Posted March 29, 2014 It's apparent bowyer sees Lowe as a Midfielder
