Coyle has to go

We showed no desire to win the game once it went to 2-2

Brown let us down for the winner but was decent otherwise

Marshall is a disgrace

Loanees, injury prones and free transfers.....mean these results.

Coyle is the symptom of the problem! SORRY

Not true imo. Lenihan, brown, Williams, Marshall - all of the ability to me arranged into a team that doesn't concede multiple times a match.

Coyle has no clue. Our shape was diabolical. Yes, we create chances but it's just not good enough.

Stats show we had the better of things, by some way.

If we can't win games when we are in the ascendency, there is no hope.

Games where we are the better side are few and far between.

Venkys out, Coyle out. Time has more or less run out :(

Ps. Should we all start betting against Rovers in every game-

To soften the deep despair?

Once again he sacrificed a midfielder for a defender.

The guy is utterly clueless. The fans called it right in June when he was appointed.

Coyle Out!

Yep if you have ageing defenders with no legs left or raw recruits you close around them and try and protect them in midfield. Get the team operating as a unit. Kevin Moran was superb for us but he'd have been a disaster under a clown like Coyle.

Coyle waxing lyrical.....

'We have shown we can compete with the top teams'

The man is an utter bullish!tter on Steve Kean level..in total denial of our situation.

He needs topping, when you compete you get a result, he's a deluded garcoyle

For the neutral I guess that would have been a pretty entertaining game notwithstanding the complete absence of quality on either side. In terms of overall play I thought we were a lot better than on Tuesday but yet again we shipped three goals and slid to our third defeat of the week.

As Tom says, Marshall couldn't have made it more obvious he isn't interested and im my view he should never be allowed to pull on the shirt again.

Dismal week but hopefully the three consecutive defeats will need enough to trigger a change in management.

Coyle out Rowett in

What an eye opener.

IMV, clear from the start that Reading were better organised, more energetic, quicker and slicker. We were like a pub team in comparison.

Yep, we scored two and missed some chances (Graham could and should have had a hat trick) but many of Reading's difficulties were self inflicted as they tried to be over elaborate at the back.

If Reading had been more clinical, they would have scored six - I lost count of the number of half chances and opportunities they squandered. Some of their approach play was excellent.

Defensively, we were woeful and you could find major fault with each goal we conceded. Our midfield was, again, almost non existent.

Gallagher is wasted out wide on the left in what is largely a 442 and surely it would be better to have Emnes there (wide left) with his trickery. Gallagher's power through the middle would have put even more pressure on a Reading defence that looked far from confident.

It really was 'Deadwood' with virtually no atmosphere. Sat in the JW and would estimate 800 in DE, 1,200 in Riverside and 2,000 in BE. So if, JW half full at best, that would give a real gate of 8,500.

Who signed these players?? Coyle is a symptom of something alright but if he isn't responsible for who is signed, selected and the team performance then he is complicit by not doing a Lambert.

He simply has to go. There are managers doing better jobs with poorer squads.
