Mattyblue Posted August 1, 2018 Posted August 1, 2018 Amazing considering how popular the red and black halved kit was, that we've never released a halved away shirt since. 4 Quote

Backroom Tom Posted August 1, 2018 Backroom Posted August 1, 2018 The new sponsor is on the back of all the replica away kits does anyone know if it’s the same colour on the away kit? Quote

Promotional with Rovers name in yellow ffs, I will follow branding changes with interest after this years home kit abortion. Quote
Oldgregg86 Posted August 1, 2018 Posted August 1, 2018 I really like it. I think both kits are good as long as we go back to proper blue next year Quote
Bigdoggsteel Posted August 1, 2018 Posted August 1, 2018 I like the away. Ordered the home kit in long sleeve during the week. Good for astro during the winter Quote
JAL Posted August 1, 2018 Posted August 1, 2018 The home shirt looks dreadful, but what stands out is how similar it looks to Everton's kit of 1887, with the blue half on the opposite side if anyone could kindly post the Everton team photo of 1887 to 1890. Quote

matt83 Posted August 1, 2018 Posted August 1, 2018 Yellow reminds me of the kean era. I’ll pass Quote

Hasta Posted August 1, 2018 Posted August 1, 2018 Ignoring the sponsor,, I like the home kit but am not a fan of the away kit. Quote

Personally I think the away strip is even worse than the home. Was thinking of buying one for my grandson for Christmas but will think again unless his other grandparents go for a Burnley shirt in which case I will have to buy one or the other Quote
OJRovers Posted August 1, 2018 Posted August 1, 2018 By far the worst thing about both home and away kits is the awful bright blue colour of the numbers on the back. It doesn't match anything else on the shirts and looks terrible. Why not just stick to black numbers to match the collar trim and sponsor colour?? 2 Quote
Drover Posted August 1, 2018 Posted August 1, 2018 (edited) Probably going to get the home kit as the away is, just like someone said, halfway through a Sunday league catalogue. Tempted not to get a player name and numbering as really not sure about the blue numbers with the logo. Think Fulhams kit this year has shown how you integrate the sponsor with the kit perfectly. Exiled in Toronto Posted August 1, 2018 Posted August 1, 2018 GQ magazine likes the home one, rating it as 5th best in the Championship! There are some right mingers to be fair. Kits Quote
justjonny Posted August 1, 2018 Posted August 1, 2018 What do people do with their old shirts? The last one I had from 2 seasons back I had made into a cushion with the babies as it was his first kit, but I still have the zebra claims one as a couple of others. Can't really bring myself to throw them in the bin and living in Liverpool I don't think anyone around here would have one out of the charity shop Quote

What a monstrosity God ,whatever about our sponsor, Milwalls is appalling The Villa one is pretty nice Edited August 1, 2018 by Bigdoggsteel Quote
DeeCee Posted August 1, 2018 Posted August 1, 2018 Millwall and Swansea are decent, wouldn't put ours in the top 10. Quote
Mattyblue Posted August 1, 2018 Posted August 1, 2018 It’s a thread about the kit, people are giving their opinion on the kit. We might as well lock all non player related threads then.... Quote
RV Blue Posted August 1, 2018 Posted August 1, 2018 What’s with the picture to launch the kit? Looks like they have jogging pants on not shorts, they have pockets ffs. Did the shorts and socks not turn up in time for the launch? Embarrassing. Quote
Oldgregg86 Posted August 1, 2018 Posted August 1, 2018 I thought our sponsors where bad til I saw Ipswich. There really are some awful shirts in their Quote
Baz Posted August 1, 2018 Posted August 1, 2018 As someone who really doesn't like yellow kits, this is the best yellow kit we've had in my opinion. (Still should be halves) Quote
