For what it's worth, Daniel Sturridge, and most other pundits, are absolute dirge. I find football on TV immeasurably better on mute. I don't have someone at Ewood or wherever else I end up in person telling me what I just saw, why do I need it for watching it on TV? Half of it is just pandering for social media clicks later... G-Nev OUTRAGED by VAR call... Roy Keane TEARS INTO West Ham left back... Micah Richards AMAZED by concept of gravity. Get it all to launched into orbit. Quote
Hasta Posted Wednesday at 21:26 Posted Wednesday at 21:26 Burnley undone by one quality cross at home to Palace tonight. Unlike last time under Kompany, there looks a definite lack of quality throughout their team for coping with the Premier League. 5 defeats on the bounce. With Forest winning and Leeds currently winning, there’s now a 4 point gap to safety. Looking good. I mean, er, grim. 🙂 Quote
SIMON GARNERS 194 Posted Wednesday at 21:41 Posted Wednesday at 21:41 (edited) Plenty of empty seats at the Dingle Dome tonight..lets hope Newcastle make it 6 losses on the bounce come Saturday. All crying they want Parker out now. Down ya come inbreads!🤣 Edited Wednesday at 21:42 by SIMON GARNERS 194 Quote

Upside Down Posted yesterday at 07:50 Posted yesterday at 07:50 (edited) How can Brighton Villa be such a boring game when it's 4-3 in injury time? Both teams playing as though they're winning 6-0. Premier League football is absolutely gash. If this is what had been served up to me as a kid then there's no way I would have been so fanatical about it. Whether it lack of form, a lack of intensity, or innumerable other scenarios it's hard to pinpoint what Liverpool are doing wrong as seemingly every game it's something new. Against PSV last week they were woefully lazy, yet last night it was van Dijk making 2 mistakes in short time that cost them a goal. Slot has to fix it, but I think he's struggling too. What I see is a team that isn't working hard without the ball, and a team that's ponderous with it. For many minutes last night with Liverpool in possession is was like watching a handball match. They kept the ball for long periods passing it to the middle, out wide, then back to the middle again without ever getting the ball into the box. It's so easy to defend against. Last season Diaz and Nunez offered lots of running off the ball, but the midfield behind them did too and the personnel there has not changed, so why is it so bad? I can't see an upturn anytime soon. Slot needs to go back to early Klopp and go for 5-4 wins rather than last season's suffocation tactics. Quote

They are playing less long balls than last season and want to the ball more at the back. Missing Trent at right back cos Frimpony hasn't been fit enough. Maybe he needs to play Isak and Etketie together up front. Writz just off them. Quote
