Not down to Price but the look Think the polo shirt posted by @StHelensRover is smart and that would be a much better anniversary shirt. A remarkably abrupt U turn. Has Mrs Chadster put her foot down and said "You're not spending £90 on that pile of crap!" 😉 The Polo shirt is 1000 per cent better but still smacks of doing it at minimal cost and without a great deal of thought. I'm not keen on anything with a cheap transfer instead of the proper badge with the red rose Quote
JHRover Posted 19 hours ago Posted 19 hours ago So the Maltese cross is an ironed on felt patch? Not a good look Quote

I wrote up the notes (I think they’re higher up this thread…). The first point the consultation group made was that shirts had to have reversed halves to be genuine Rovers kits… The only thing they took on board was a change shirt using the green from the town badge… Waste of time…the whole exercise. The fact they even need to be told to do reverse halves totally sums them up. 1 Quote
Mattyblue Posted 18 hours ago Posted 18 hours ago If you ever wanted an example to how we ,the fans, are the club then look no further than Ian’s post. The club badge tie wearers and those administering things lower down the chain have the foggiest about Blackburn Rovers, its heritage and traditions. 2 2 Quote
Upside Down Posted 18 hours ago Posted 18 hours ago If ever anyone needed proof then this is it. Blackburn Rovers ceased to exist in November 2010. This shirt is absolutely fitting for the 15 year anniversary of Venky FC. It's cheap, shit and was done with as little effort as humanly possible. Anyone who spends money on this deserves a punch to the face. 2 Quote

Torgeir Posted 16 hours ago Posted 16 hours ago It'll be around £120+ total to get one shipped over here. Quote
Ricky Posted 16 hours ago Posted 16 hours ago Will we also wear the black trousers and little blue hats? 2 1 1 Quote

I fit into a large but prefer a shirt to be a bit baggy so I get XL. With Macron however, I need an XXL in order for it not show off my belly. I'm hoping this material fits more like a normal footy shirt. Quote
j166429 Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago Are we even sure that it has been proven beyond doubt that the white shirt with a maltese cross was our first ever shirt? (i know what it says on the rovers' website, but do we have any factual evidence?) Quote
joey_big_nose Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago It's very weird the club have not announced it but third parties are selling it? Anyone know what is going on? Quote

We're a husk. When we played Wolves in 2000, we were in the same division we're in now, except we were trying to compete to get out of the division and were run by competent people. The argument about it being the Jack Walker era can't be levelled because by that point the great man had passed on. The attendance for that game was 20,400. I'm guessing Wolves at the time would have brought about 2k? What do we think for Saturday? 15,000 'officially' announced but nearer 11 or 12k? Sad I read somewhere we had sold 17,000 home tickets and that was a week or so ago. Maybe that includes away fans. Blackburn End lower nearly sold out, Jack Walker sold pretty well apart from the two outer wings. Definitely a higher attendance than most home games by a clear margin. 1 Quote
