Last time Rovers lost the first 3 league games was 2016/17, it was the infamous Cardiff away defeat when Shane Duffy scored 2 own goals and got sent off. We all know how that season ended. Obviously a long way to go but Rovers really need to get something on the board.

The starting XI is probably the best they can do in the current circumstances, but I just don't see enough creativity in that team.

First goal is crucial. If Hull score it then I can't see Rovers finding a way back.

Big blow for Hull with Charlie Hughes out ill and 2 other senior centre backs also out.

Really need to be getting a win. Dont want to start to be cut adrift of direct potential relegation rivals so soon.

We've done okay in this season's two league fixtures, and could have easily picked up four points.  That said, it's not a great team that we've got out and I'd be happy with a point today.

He went with the squad to Spain in pre season

Spent last season out on loan in Ireland & then at Ebbsfleet,   Got relegated with both 

Still far better than Jack Barrett whose contract extension mystifies me

Wonder if this means Michalski is going out on loan? (hopefully he is)

Hopefully he'll do what Forshaw did against Plymouth. Never scored for them then immediately scored against them

I agree that we have not actually played that badly so far and have been pretty unlucky not to have any points.

In terms of whether the team is any good... Too early to tell really. Signs are good defensively but lacking ideas going forward.

Really need Abeliousu, Ohashi, Kargbo and Cantwell to find some effective link and patterns between them as all our attacking play will come through them. Hope they've been really focusing on that all week in training.

Good time to play Hull with their injuries and illness.  Therefore gone for Rovers' win at 12/5 plus a little cheeky flutter on 3-1 at 28/1.

Heart ruling head a bit but who knows.  Think this really will be a shit or bust game for Rovers.

I agree , we have to get something out of this game or we will be stuck in the bottom 3 all season , unfortunately that starting eleven , gives me very little confidence !

Like I have said for the last 2 games , I will be pleasantly surprised if we avoid defeat .

I look at that team and I feel nothing. 

I don't think I've ever felt less of a connection to the squad. Almost feels like on of the old Pro Evo made up squads.

i reckon we`ll get outplayed,hull will miss a penalty and hit the bar and post numerous times but fail to score,mahktar will come on and score a really scruffy goal right at the end🤣

Two penalty decisions going (incorrectly) against us has cost us four points so far.

We live on such a fine margin because we haven't bolstered the attack this offseason.
