Anyone else fearing a repeat of last week?

Need to take our chances - Hedges and Kargo should have done better with their opportunities.

Montgomery the only centre mid on the bench

Terrifying, that.

We saw Tavares fade after the hour mark last week so he'll have to come off at some point. To have a L2 standard player on the bench to replace him is gross mismanagement.

Good first half. Showing plenty of attacking qualities. Kargbo looks like he can beat their left back every time.

Would have second before half time.

Toth made 2 good saves so far.

Even game so far

Decent first half, Sidnei is clearly better on the ball than Travis.

Tronstad just has the knack of picking up second balls and being in the right place at the right time.

Just pay him what he wants!

Very composed. Still lack that bite up front.

Toth is a very solid goalkeeper. Tronstad seems back to his solid self. Hedges surprisingly decent and took his goal well. Kargbo growing into it.

Positives all round so far.

You miss Travis' energy, but Tavares is clearly much better on the ball.

Not convinced myself. Tavares has a nice Ngozi style languid neat one touch, but Travis in the last couple of years made some really good forward passing which I haven't seen from Tavares yet.

Tavares needs to moving 30% quicker. Hes trying to slow the game down to his speed but you cant do that in the Championship. He needs to up the revs. But not in this game as he'll get sent off.

Issue is Henrickson looks a card machine also, and i think hes more of a ten.

Hmmm....

We look good at times with the ball, overall you have to be satisfied with that performance away from home in this league.
Hull look very poor though, it’ll be a long struggle for them, and just shows overpaid Championship journeymen are usually best dodged (Giles, Palmer).

It does all leave me a bit frustrated though, we look very close to being a very good team, we recoup a good £7m+ this summer and if we could just once spend it then I think we’d be well set up. We’re desperate for a proper striker / goal scorer.

Ah yeah... There we go. Probably need to give him a go.  Think hes really struggled at full back but at centre mid hes got to be able to up the energy. Id make the change at HT.

Barring a couple of moments, all can be happy with that 46 minutes.

Sondre and Hedges done more in this half compared to the first 3 games combined.

Some referee's are bad, and make one shocking game changing decision (pens and cards), this guy might actually be the first referee I've ever seen that is actually getting easily over half his decisions wrong. He is miles out of his depth. Hull legitimately have had 7 or 8 yellow card offenses in that half.

Rovers look open at the back, and a bit disjointed. McDicknie, Ndala and Gelhardt are the ones to watch. Chance to win this 3-0, but I dont see many clean sheets in this team.

Big 50 minutes to come.

Hedges has started the season really well to be fair.

I agree and hope he can build on that. A bit of confidence won’t do him any harm.

Good away first half performance. Hedges has played well and has got his customary, solitary goal a season away from home early on.

Still not creating much but its the kind of performance that under Eustace with some of the experienced departed players, youd have confidence in us seeing out. We did last year.

I dont have that confidence at this stage under Ismael with these players, we showed last week what can happen. Big acid test to see if we can manage the game and grind it out.

Well a good first half look like the tean is bonding but up do look a little light  up front let's hope second half goes our way

Some positives definitely.

Kargbo looks more well rounded and is putting in good work.

Alebiosu has been promising all season so far.

McLoughlin looks solid enough with good physicality.

As an aside, is Russ Bray doing the announcing at the stadium lol?

We definitely need 2nd, fingers crossed.

Honestly, I don't trust us to manage this game in the 2nd half, it's nowhere near done yet and our game management is evidently poor both on and off the pitch so my expectations are low. Tavares really worries me being on a yellow with this ref and the bench shows a lack of depth.

Next goal decides this game
