I think we would have a strong case for the result to stand, with 80 mins played and Ipswich down to 10.

It would be insanely unfair to replay the match when Ipswich have been down to 10 for almost the entire second half.

Disgrace that we appear to have about 3 guys with pitchforks meandering round, should be sweeping it off as much as possible surely (although admittedly they know the job better than I do)

Feckin embarrassing.

If it has to be replayed in full rovers should be given a 2 goal start for the goal and sending off. Mckenna can get fucked

Is there no chance of the football league ordering the last 10/15 mins to be replayed with 11 v 10.

I'm sure I've seen that happen somewhere previously.

At this stage of the season it will be replayed surely. Plenty of time to fit in in.

Can you imagine if we lose the replay and get relegated by 3 points or less.

You reap what you sow............

No chance this game is going back on. McKenna will be non stop at the ref about players being in danger (bollocks). We clearly now have a drainage system that cannot take prolonged heavy rain, it is not fit for purpose, that is on the club.

The rule itself just feels so bizarre. Why would the replay in any circumstance not just start from the moment it finished?

This is bad enough, but if you’re 3-0 up with 5 mins to go then could you imagine having to start from scratch

Pathetic. This was widely expected yesterday evening, and we end up watching 2 groundsmen meander around the pitch sporadically prodding at it. Amateurish. The club hierarchy reaping what they sow

Once again its been that way for years but never properly acted upon.

On the plus side we looked really good all game, and Id be very surprised if we are in the conversation for relegation.

Can we see some common sense, surely you just finish behind closed doors at some point, I’d keep them there tonight, when Eriksen collapsed on the pitch they restarted 2 hours later.

We all know the real outcome here

Regardless of whether we get screwed in this instance, the rule needs changed doesn't it.

Maybe a line in the sand moment like Lampard's ghost goal and goal line technology.

If we go on to lose to Ipswich later in the season, no way this should happen again to someone else.

The injustice should facilitate a change from next season. I don't know exactly what change though. Surely the clubs can agree to one that's fair for all.
