Be bold and brave and ban Rovers and Ewood Park from your lives until we have new owners and executive management. They aren't getting a penny out of me until they're all gone 6 Quote
Popular Post Hasta Posted 3 hours ago Popular Post Posted 3 hours ago (edited) I suspect Rovers will back down over the next 7 days (they worded it as a 'suspension'). Jackson will then be under pressure to toe the line, and suspect the LT bosses will inform him to do so. I can't imagine Newsquest Media will have any appetite to allow 'journalistic freedom' if they believe it will cost subscriptions / sales. Hopefully it shines another light under the rock at Ewood. It shows more than ever that the much sought after "communication" is not necessarily the truth, just the version the club wants to put out. How people can look at the FF minutes issue and then this issue and then still believe the clubs narrative all the time is astonishing. Waggot was a PR genius compared to these clowns. Gamst Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago I’ve always thought the LT were pretty sympathetic to the club and on the occasions they have been critical it has been entirely deserved. They are not a mouthpiece for the club ultimately. Feel for EJ as he has to thin line the tread between keeping the club onside and reporting the actual events which inevitably reflect poorly on the club. I hope the LT support him as he has a young family and doesn’t deserve to lose his job. 4 Quote

I am so disappointed with the club I have supported for 58 years. The present regime at Ewood Park do not have the best interests of MY club at heart. They are rogues. Its a heartbreaking decision Mike but one myself and thousands of fellow Blue n Whites understand and respect...we simply cant continue like this. The damage continues unabaited and its totally deliberate. 2 Quote

I suspect the club have tried to get the LET to dismiss him and replace him with their own PR dept. I think it’s the Travis stuff AND something else as the telegraph write up mentions Travis and also something that the club saw as untrue I think it’s about Suhail refusing an interview or similar, either way it’s bizarre Quote
barry_ Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago saw this on the LET comments section... 'dSubscriber1 hr ago Couldn’t agree more. This is not a free press issue, this is a club with integrity standing up to biased and misleading reporting often click bait motivated. Constructive criticism is in thing but incendiary reporting is is not' my head hurts. Quote

Tomphil2 Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago (edited) This will spectacularly backfire on Rovers they've poked a real hornets nest here and i hope the MSM take them to task. They've ignorantly now shone the spotlight on themselves the bunch of clueless clowns. This is what happens when you over promote nobodies, get rid of experience on all levels and employ an immature entitled fragile ego manchild to run the football dept. These idiots genuinely think they are bigger than the club and given time it'll only end up one way for them eventually. Edited 2 hours ago by Tomphil2 5 Quote

That story seems to have really got to him. Possibly what he was angling to sue Glen for as well? 1 Quote
DeeCee Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago Well, just when we thought things couldn't get any more sleazy. What do the club expect to get from this other than negative publicity? Another own goal by the regime. 1 Quote

joey_big_nose Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago A further update (but nothing more there really), I listen to all his podcasts and I struggle to really pick out anything the club could object to. All seemed eminently reasonable. In a way its a good things as it shows how out of their depth they are. Need to get Winter to come in and do a deep dive piece for the nationals, linking it to the incoming football regulator and how to avoid these situations. Anyone reached out to Winter on that front? https://www.rovers.co.uk/news/2025/september/27/club-statement--lancashire-telegraph-update/ Quote
BigUts Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago The doubling down would almost be unbelievable if we hadn't already had nearly 15 years of utter sh1te already. As it stands now nothing at all surprises me any longer Really hope Andy Bayes can get stuck in here and pick the scab that has seemingly formed over some wound that's been opened Quote
Gamst Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago The further update basically describes the work of a journalist. 5 Quote
rigger Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago The second statement seems to say that the club were annoyed about the reporting, also the leaking of team selections. At no point have they said that any of the reports were not true. Quote
