Grabbi Graeme Posted January 29, 2007 Posted January 29, 2007 Away again , think we have a chance if we play Bolton
Exiled in Toronto Posted January 29, 2007 Posted January 29, 2007 I fancy our chances against Arsenal reserves
Mr. E Posted January 29, 2007 Posted January 29, 2007 NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO why Arsenal ?? why ?? Of all the worst possible draws, away vs them was the absolute worst that we could get. If they get past Bolton it's over for us.
G Somerset Rover Posted January 29, 2007 Posted January 29, 2007 Pile of rubbish. Yet again for the umpteenth time this season Chelsea and Utd have home draws. And Chelsea inparticular have another stinker of a team.
Eddie Posted January 29, 2007 Posted January 29, 2007 --> QUOTE(Ste B @ Jan 29 2007, 14:37 ) 484937[/snapback] The order that they come out of the hat - if we get through this one, we will be no 6 Thanks for that, also something that I've never known.
Ozz Posted January 29, 2007 Posted January 29, 2007 Every year I think more and more the draw is a fix. Arsenal away (prob) at probably 12.30 lunch time or 5.15 on a Sunday night. ######.
ewoodblue Posted January 29, 2007 Posted January 29, 2007 Why, we can beat Bolton? Please. let it be the Trotters. I'm still upset over the game at Ewod, when we missed the two penalties. We owe them for that.
Ste B Posted January 29, 2007 Posted January 29, 2007 Bolton at the Reebok..........could be worse. Now what will the price be £50 a ticket? Replay is live on BBC1 on 14th Feb while we are in Leverkusen. Could be fun for those in Germany to get tix.
T4E Posted January 29, 2007 Posted January 29, 2007 C'mon Notlob, if they get through we can get a draw at t'Reebok and do them at Ewood. We're gonna have to do it the hard way. Looks like Chelsea and United will have no trouble getting in the the QF's, we've a 50% chance of getting one of those, IF we make it that far.

b12_simon Posted January 29, 2007 Posted January 29, 2007 Pile of rubbish. Yet again for the umpteenth time this season Chelsea and Utd have home draws. And Chelsea inparticular have another stinker of a team. They're having a charmed life alright. Macclesfield, Forest and now Blackpool or Norwich. Not to forget Wycombe in the Beer Cup. I agree with the posters saying it's the worst possible draw (or will be if l'Arse win), but don't agree it's necessarily Game Over, even at the Emirates. Simon
ewoodblue Posted January 29, 2007 Posted January 29, 2007 I think best draw of the round ,as to be Prreston and City Poor Blackpool , they really do have an Everest to climb.
Paul Posted January 29, 2007 Posted January 29, 2007 After a few moments thought this could be OK. I'd take Bolton to beat Arsenal in the replay. We seem to be preforming well in the cup away from home, two wins, eight goals. So yes I fancy this one if we get Bolton. provided the tickets are a reasonable price I'd be persuaded to break my self-imposed boycott of the Reebok and go to that one.
gazsimm Posted January 29, 2007 Posted January 29, 2007 I really do hope it's Bolton, i don't fancy us Arsenal
Bobby G Posted January 29, 2007 Posted January 29, 2007 Disappointed. Would have taken Bolton before hand for the revenge factor but they got to win against Arsenal first then its "meet David Dunn"
RevidgeBlue Posted January 29, 2007 Posted January 29, 2007 Something's getting a bit fishy the way the "big clubs" always seem to get a home draw. The coloured lad drawing the home balls seemed to look in the drum before fishing out ball no 4 (Chelsea) first. Other than that neither party seemed to be looking in and don't see how it could be fixed otherwise. Looking forward to possibly going to the Emirates stadium again, and we should defend a bit better with Nelsen back.

MY MATE TXT ME WITH SAME THING HE SAID ..CAMBELL IS LOOKING AT THE BALLS BEFORE HE DRAWS THEM OUT
MarkBRFC Posted January 29, 2007 Posted January 29, 2007 So if the replay is on 14th Feb, that AGAIN leaves us with 2/3 days to sort out tickets, etc for this one. Why is the reply so late isnt it usually 10 days after the first game?
speeeeeeedie Posted January 29, 2007 Posted January 29, 2007 If we play Bolton we have a good chance of going through. If we play Arsenal we are done. No Van Persie though, so it won't be that bad.
Paul Posted January 29, 2007 Posted January 29, 2007 We really need to play Bolton. This match will be sandwiched between the two Leverkusen games, and we don't need a long trip to London and a possible stuffing during that week. Could be a good week: 14th Leverkusen 17/18th Bolton (hopefully) 22nd Leverkusen
