speeeeeeedie Posted May 8, 2011 Posted May 8, 2011 Interesting Sunday. WBA certainly did not help us. United could have had 6 against a bad Chelsea. Arsenal got pummelled off Stoke. I think Ancelotti is a goner, as well as half the Chelsea line up. Too many of them are getting old and showing it. Will Red Rom sanction a spending spree? When will Wenger learn? He needs a gruff centre half, a la Samba. A midfield enforcer, and a commanding keeper.

cn174 Posted May 8, 2011 Posted May 8, 2011 Jack Wilshire is a dirty little sod on the sly. He made a bad tackle before the one he got booked for. Had that been a Stoke player, Wenger would be going mad. Did amuse me the Stoke fans singing '1-0 to the rugby team'

speeeeeeedie Posted May 8, 2011 Posted May 8, 2011 He has learned, he wants Phil Jones. I posted that beofre I read this too; Samba's Arsenal chat. It's in the Samba thread too.
Tyrone Shoelaces Posted May 9, 2011 Posted May 9, 2011 I posted that beofre I read this too; Samba's Arsenal chat. It's in the Samba thread too. It's started early this season, usually they wait until the end of the season before starting these sort of stories.
The Rover of Finland Posted May 9, 2011 Posted May 9, 2011 Seems like Adam will get nothing from dirty tackle against Bale. His season could be over. Losing Adam would be a major step closer relegation for Blackpool.
Oklahoma Posted May 9, 2011 Posted May 9, 2011 Adam should be suspended for the same time that Bale will be out. It was way behond any limits...
Grabbi Graeme Posted May 9, 2011 Posted May 9, 2011 Not even 20 mins gone at Craven Cottage and Fulham are 3-0 down against Liverpool
Backroom Tom Posted May 9, 2011 Author Backroom Posted May 9, 2011 Do any of our rivals play Fulham? Along with Bolton and WBA they are on their hols
chaddyrovers Posted May 9, 2011 Posted May 9, 2011 liverpool have been excellent so far. Kenny playing good football like he did at rovers Hughes doesn't look happy! bet he goes mad with them. wouldn't like to be in the fulham dressing room at half time
Grabbi Graeme Posted May 9, 2011 Posted May 9, 2011 Do any of our rivals play Fulham? Along with Bolton and WBA they are on their hols Fulham play at Birmingham on Sunday, might not be too bad them getting tonked by Liverpool, Hughes will be looking for a reaction against Birmingham
roversmum Posted May 9, 2011 Posted May 9, 2011 Hm we well remember the last time Rovers played Birmingham under Hughes, don't we?
jim mk2 Posted May 9, 2011 Posted May 9, 2011 Fulham look like West Brom at Wolves and Bolton in their past few matches .....mentally switched off and waiting for the end of the season. Not looking good for their match at Birmingham.

Hughesy Posted May 9, 2011 Posted May 9, 2011 All 20 prem teams scored again this weekend, 2nd time this season. Great news for the Goal rush coupons
thenodrog Posted May 10, 2011 Posted May 10, 2011 4-1 5-1 2-5 to Liverpool must rank alongside 7-0 away to Man Utd. I wonder if the Fulham fans will now be calling for Hughes's head and whether if they are 3-0 up with 5 mins to go in their next game there will be mass booing should anybody have the temerity to pass the ball backwards and along the ground in order to retain possession in a professional manner rather than lumping it hopefully into the box and handing possession to the other team. Personally I doubt it cos I'd imagine that Fulham fans will understand the game better and be better all round 'thinkers' than our lot.

Excelled yourself this time Alf!
Mattyblue Posted May 10, 2011 Posted May 10, 2011 Well it was 7-1 actually. So 5-2 at home is similar, no?

imy9 Posted May 10, 2011 Posted May 10, 2011 6 goal difference or 3 goal difference?, DOUBLE is not the same.
Mattyblue Posted May 10, 2011 Posted May 10, 2011 Didn't say it was the same, but getting spanked 7-1 at Old Trafford and getting five put past you at home are both horrific defeats, no?
