Wing Wizard Windy Miller
Kean is cementing his spot as goalkeeper IMHO. Completely agree. He looks very assured in all areas (touch wood!).

Backroom DE. Posted January 11, 2013 Backroom Share Posted January 11, 2013 First order of business at HT - CKR off. The last thing we need is a player sent off for being stupid and petulant. He's not doing enough to warrant being kept on. I appreciate the players are underwhelmed by Appleton's appointment and annoyed Bowyer is leaving the manager's post but we need more from them in the second half. Keep playing like this and we'll concede eventually, no matter how poor Wolves are up front. Get the ball to Rochina & Simon more often... they scare the daylights out of Wolves when they're on the ball. But they aren't on it anywhere near enough. Blackpool_Rover
I look at CKR in this game and he reminds me of Jay Bothroyd away at Norwich....about 8 hours travelling and he karate kicks a player and gets sent off early on....please sub him

He's not doing enough to warrant being kept on. If he can keep his head. He is actually giving them something to think about. It was his charging down which ended up with us getting a free kick in the final third, which resulted in a penalty. It just depends if he can keep his head. Linekar didn't get a yellow card in his entire career, CKR just needs to do 45 mins. I live in hope!
moerpho
So far we look the better team and more dangerous on the attack....doesn't really say much though as both teams are poor. Murphy and Lowe in midfield can beyond frustrating. Counted three counter attacks with good runs on both sides where Murphy and Lowe seems scared of the ball and just give it away with not much fight (or anything else....). Positivies: Jake Kean looks a real prospect! A couple of great saves and seems confident. From what he's shown in the first half I much prefer him to Robinson. Todd Kane also seems to do alright. Brilliant penalty by Rhodes. Negatives: CKR really, really needs to be taken off. Would like to see Gomes come on as Wolves defenders should suit him well from what I've seen this far. Hopefully we will go on to win this. Actually looking forward to the second half!
danger19_80
Why does Murphy NEVER take set pieces? So frustrating. He's the bloody captain yet pansies out of them all.

jim mk2
Rovers generally poor and not deserving of half-time lead. Rochina dive for the non-penalty straight out of the Spanish / Barcelona book of cheating. Rhodes pathetic effort one-on-one with keeper. Richards needs substituting - if Bowyer is the managerial genius everyone proclaims he will take him off. Kean and Henley our best players. Wolves can feel hard-done by and unless we improve would be surprised if we win this.
Bundesburn
This Kane lad had no positional awareness. Getting caught out on the overlap too often, not tracking the run. Commentary is hilarious. There's a @#/? ex-Wolves player in the studio, too! Is the producer a Wolves fan or something?!

There are players on the bench who can do the same job as CKR. He hasn't been good enough to risk being kept on IMO.
RoyRover
CKR looks a bit tubby around the face and the stomach. He hasn't been in the game. Unless the ball is passed directly to him from 2 yards, he doesn't want to know. I'd take him off and bring Gomes on or move Rochina up beside Rhodes and bring Pedersen on. Rochina and Vukcevic have looked good and shown some nice touches. Kane has done alright, though he does need to track runners better.

RevidgeBlue
Appleton isn't there apparently. Can we put him on gardening leave and leave Bowyer in charge until the end of the season please? Don't understand the fuss the commentators were making about the penalty, it was a bit of a soft one but quite justified imo. CKR is a liability tonight, apart from the fact he's going to get himself sent off he's cocked up a number of promising situations for us by committing needless fouls. Murphy nice and tidy in midfield, Lowe is desperately poor though imo. As someone else said need to get Rochina and Vukcevic on the ball as much as possible. Thuink Rhodes will catch them on the break second half. COYB.

He needs to go off in this game but that's harsh. The lad's got a poor attitude but he's won us a fair few points this season.
