bob fleming Posted March 8, 2015 Posted March 8, 2015 To be fair that's pretty much the only thing we have over them. When they started out they wore the famous blue and white halves. There's also that Premier League thing.

Backroom Tom Posted March 8, 2015 Backroom Posted March 8, 2015 Anyone apart from Henley and Hanley ever played at Anfield before?
Tyrone Shoelaces Posted March 8, 2015 Posted March 8, 2015 All I want is a committed performance from the eleven guys out there this afternoon. I want them to be able to wring the sweat out of their shirts when they come off the pitch. Anything short of that will see us lose badly. Any repetition of the spineless City away FA Cup performance will NOT be acceptable.
chaddyrovers Posted March 8, 2015 Posted March 8, 2015 Anyone apart from Henley and Hanley ever played at Anfield before? I think Baptiste whilst he was at Blackpool. Also I think Gestede did in League cup for Cardiff against Liverpool
Waggy76 Posted March 8, 2015 Posted March 8, 2015 Theres only one Jack Walker and Venkys Out all through the game ... That would make me proud to be a Rovers fan...

We are a lot closer to Liverpool than City - although still a massive chasm. But it's XI against XI. Quality will tell, effort shouldn't. Just look at Bradford.
perthblue02 Posted March 8, 2015 Posted March 8, 2015 Be surprised if we get anything out of the game, financially a draw would be a decent result, but as long as we give it a right good go, have a great day out all those that are going.
pk1875 Posted March 8, 2015 Posted March 8, 2015 I had forgotten what it's like to wake up truly excited about a football match, takes me back to the pre Venky, Kean, Anderson days. Anyway today is not about them today is about Blackburn Rovers and we are Blackburn Rovers.
Kamy100 Posted March 8, 2015 Posted March 8, 2015 Have no real expectations of winning today so I am jiust going to enjoy the occasion, am sure that our fans will do the town proud and hope that the players give it their all and make it as difficult as possible for Liverpool.
Backroom Tom Posted March 8, 2015 Backroom Posted March 8, 2015 They are scary when they click but let's not forget they were heading out at Bolton until a stupid red card. You never know in the cup
AJW Posted March 8, 2015 Posted March 8, 2015 If we played them 10 times they would win 7 , 2 would be drawn and we would win 1 .. lets hope today is that 1 day
glen9mullan Posted March 8, 2015 Posted March 8, 2015 Hanley was in Dantes last night , so I guess it will be Killa n Henry at the back . Good start to the day :-)
Mike Graham Posted March 8, 2015 Posted March 8, 2015 "Love Rovers, hate Venky's Love Rovers, hate Venky's" Repeat every 12 seconds.
Blue blood Posted March 8, 2015 Posted March 8, 2015 Even got the wife watching this one! Last (and only) game she watched we put 4 past Swansea, so here's hoping for something similar.
Mike Graham Posted March 8, 2015 Posted March 8, 2015 Take care at Liverpool today. Watch your back pockets, car, wife and pie. They will nick anything.

I want us to be in the game for a full 90 mins, but in truth I don't expect that to be the case. As long as we're not humiliated.
Mercer Posted March 8, 2015 Posted March 8, 2015 Yep but thats we 3 Sky HD plus boxes plus all the sports and Movies. I don't watch normal tv unless it Football or Rugby Union. Most of the tv shows I watched are on Sky One or Sky Atlantic. Plus I watch most PL football games and enjoy watching Spanish football. Plus I huge Cricket fan so thats on Sky also. I only got BT sport for the Football and NBA. In my view Sky is much better than BT for its TV shows and sport coverage. Fully worth the money IMO. Chaddy, do you ever leave the house ?
chaddyrovers Posted March 8, 2015 Posted March 8, 2015 Chaddy, do you ever leave the house ? yes of course. have a full time permanent job. but just a big Sport fan and America TV shows fan.
Mercer Posted March 8, 2015 Posted March 8, 2015 I remember the cup semi against Arsenal down in Cardiff - we were in with a shout right up until the final few minutes. Don't expect anything today but would be great if we are still in the game towards the finish. Sadly, I think it could be a heavy defeat today. yes of course. have a full time permanent job. but just a big Sport fan and America TV shows fan. Only joking Chaddy !
Al Posted March 8, 2015 Posted March 8, 2015 Sky coverage is miles better and BT coverage not up to standards of Sky. Haha, will it heck. Alls it means - as it does now - is that instead of paying one provider to watch footy, you now have to pay two. Absolutely correct. BT cover is not a patch on SKY.
perthblue02 Posted March 8, 2015 Posted March 8, 2015 "Love Rovers, hate Venky's Love Rovers, hate Venky's" Repeat every 12 seconds. Should that not be every 4.5 seconds to celebrate the Years/months since they and their friends rolled up
Al Posted March 8, 2015 Posted March 8, 2015 I have all Sports and Movies offered by Sky plus BT sports. Plus 3 SKY HD plus boxes in the house. Cost me nearly 120 pounds a month but fully worth it. Stone me Chaddy you must have more money than sense I have.
Stuart Posted March 8, 2015 Posted March 8, 2015 Starting to feel really nervous. That can't be a good sign. For clubs like Rovers the semis being at Wembley actually make the quarter finals like a cup final - if you know what I mean.
