A lot of people seem to think it would be a good thing for Rovers if we got £1 million+ as a sell on fee for Phillips 

I'm struggling to see any positive. It certainly won't provide a material benefit to Rovers.

I'm sure Phillips is quite happy with his pay packet since that, in football, is what's important to him.  This is such a distasteful "rule". As if the big boys needs more help rounding up (stealing) talent.

Well no-one wants to sell us their players for 50% of their market value so what else can we do?

Blackburn? Maybe it's even a bit too late for this question. Honestly, I don't have much to comment on here - says the defender in an interview with TVP Sport. - What is my transfer situation? LT has an interview with Fosu-Mensah, talking about looking for a new club after sitting out for a year. Pretty sure we were linked when he left Leverkusen last year, so perhaps a hint of interest? Especially if Kapuadi is going nowhere.

I always rated him but his injury record is terrible, though that might mean he'd take a low wage to get back into game.

People were talking about this lad being a generational talent before he left us. Clearly not even close.
