They are only making the numbers up in the bottom 4.. Remember May 14th 1995 😁😁😁

Whoever down voted that is a dirty Dingle and needs banning.

When VI came here his stock wasn't particularly high and doubt he had offers piling up.

JDT had just won a few titles and his managerial career was on the up.

To a lesser extent Eustace will have had interested parties too, his time at Brum ended prematurely in most people's eyes.

There was probably much less of a reason to sell VI the dream, aka blatantly bullshit to him, his expectations may be much lower as a result.....

No doubt VI will be off as soon as a better offer comes in. No one sticks around us for long because they can see through the BS.

Change is requiredΒ

Otherwise we will just have another VI or JE or Jdt come and go and come and go.

Β

Get rid of the scum pleaseΒ

To see if this mystery injury holds up, that's if it actually exists....

I wouldn't even be bothering unless he's an exceptional talent personally but what do I know.

Do you not think his current club would protest if something didn't show up in the medical?Β

And he's probably not an exceptional talent, but someone that fits our profile; cheap quality with potential resale value.

Was Via the Manchester evening post on news now. Not sure how credible as I've never heard of the paper.

Protest about what? Again no idea what your point is?Β  Β  Β

There's thousands upon thousands of players in the world that would be cheap with potential resale value, a 24 year old from the Swiss challenge league isn't some kind of rare beast....Β

To get wins, Rovers are going to have to win games 1-0… who is getting that one goal!?

Ohashi, Cantwell, odd ones from Trav, Tron, hedges, de neve, Wharton etc. nicking one off goals we have players capable of, it's when you need 2/3 that things really become a concern. there's a lack of depth to the attacking 4 positions. Gueye and to a lesser extent Kargbo aside, we don't have senior options to rotate/cover.Β

TBH, makes sense to get a loan in for centre back, already have 4 (Hyam, Carter, Wharton, McLoughlin).Β  Gives time to see how Atcheson, Litherland, O'Riordan do on a seasons loan, and reassess in the summer.Β  And I am probably hoping for too much here, but means limited funds can be directed higher up the pitch

It's not just lack of cover thats the problem, the first choice options dont have many if any goals in them based on last season's performance.

All part of the Venky plan.Β

It's probably about the time we need VI to "do a JDT or Eustace" and threaten to walk out if there aren't any serious attempts at recruitment.

Sadly I'm guessing he's not that man, indeed in public he's been professing his happiness about how well things are going and the state we are in.

As seen by how events unfolded it required someone to buy them out of their contracts. Is there a club/country willing to pay money for VI?

Hard to see Rudy or Pasha sanctioning a few experienced pros to keep the manager β€œhappy” either way…

We agree that he's not a rare beast, that's why I don't agree that waiting until January is a good option because we definitely need someone in here and now.

And the protest part was because you suggested this:

"To see if this mystery injury holds up, that's if it actually exists...."

I haven't seen Yverdon Sport comment on the injury but I feel fairly confident that they would make a statement if Rovers claims of a hairline fracture indeed were unsubstantiated.Β

Looks like Boro have accepted a bid for Hackney - might mean they push for Brittain.

Probably! Must be class supporting a Club that reinvests the money from player sales

If the service improves they'll score more goals.

Getting the starting RWer right is crucial.

He wants first team football - when everyone's fit he'd be 5th choice.

Can't see that one coming off.

Meant to be Ipswich for 20 millionΒ

Plenty of players. But everyone has to chip last season. If Ohashi stays fit I think he will get 15 goalsΒ

It's a crazy bid to be honest for Hackney. They sold Latth for Β£20m and they didn't buy a proper replacementΒ

From everything Ismael has said he is very happy and wants 2 or 3 more signing.Β

He wants certain profile of player and Rovers seemingly have match that.Β

To be fair, a few may have said that about Tosin, James Hill, Van Hecke etc when they came on loan

No, but Boro get what their players are worth (and then some), and then reinvest it

Rovers under Venky's are the polar opposite of that
