Sorry - you were saying - lol

I stand by it. Don't think it'll work out for him here as a winger. Maybe he will end up at left back.

Decent finish though tbf.

Goal doesn't make up for his complete lack of threat through the entire half and the pathetic shot on first chance.

The one time he tried to beat his man on outside, which his pace would suggest he should be able to do, he failed utterly

Addendum to previous, Miller's throw is a huge weapon if we can use it.

Yep - there was a Hibs fan on Twitter saying his throw-in is worth £1m alone.

That's a good first touch and finish from the already much maligned DeNeve.

Well that was a bollocks half. Shite.

Tavares the only player who has impressed me at all (when I've been able to bare to watch this shit). Most of the rest poor, some embarrassingly so (Michalski, Montgomery, Henriksson, all looking miles off the pace). De Neve's first miss was embarrassing too, but he took his goal well. Gueye been ok, needs to take a chance though. Miller's throw problematic.

The first 5 minutes was peak Venkys era Rovers.

Henriksson and Montgomery are the worst right side we've had in some time. Montgomery clearly isn't ready for this level. In fairness to Henriksson he's threaded some decent passes when he's come central.

Tavares looking decent dictating tempo. It's telling he and Miller have the confidence to play at this level, whereas others look far too tentative.

Doncaster winning 2-0 at 'Boro.

Correction, Doncasters 2nd 11 (they made 11 changes) are beating a fairly strong Boro (including Brittain)

Well for me two things stand out. When we have the ball, the movement off the ball is poor hence the player who as the ball as very limited  options.  Two our forward are very poor we need another number 9 who can hold the ball up and whonas a good touch. And out wide players are at best average.

Will we fix this I doublt it

Good first half from Tavares & Henricksson. Tyjon looked quite good at times.

De Neve not good, but with all due respect, he took that goal very well.

One change for me would be Alebiosu on for Montgomery. Before that goal I'd have said get Kargbo on too for DDN.

Tronstad on a yellow bit risky. Don't want him picking up a second yellow and ending up suspended.

A terrible start but improved as the half went on.

I feel like the game is as much about testing out some of the youngsters and new signings as it is about progressing through to the next round.

Of that list, Tavares has been the standout. He looks very good and championship standard. Henriksson looks like a very tidy little player who will be very good once he's fully up to speed. Really like Miller too, he's the type of no nonsense defender that I think does well here.

De Neve is not up to it and never will be. Can run all day but has no ability and plays it safe by going backwards everytime. Montgomery doesn't look up to the standard required either. Tyjon does but physically not quite there. The GK is nervous, that's very clear. Hard to judge him on his error.

If the club supposedly see Montgomery's future as being a CM, why continue to play him at RB?? We just signed two RB's, there's absolutely no need to play him there right now.

I'm dreading the Birmingham game on Saturday.

On their second goal, a bad back pass? Don't think so. More like a tool of a goalkeeper who thinks he is better than he is -simple first time pass available for him but preferred to take some touches as though he is some top international.

Henriksson a threat but shouldn’t be playing as a winger. Wharton looks quite mobile.

Sub Montgomery off.

Tavares looks good, but Bradford happy to give him a lot of time on the ball.

Yeah, nothing wrong with the back pass. He froze for some reason and simply gave them the ball.

Hopefully it is a one off

If Montgomery comes out for the 2nd half, we aren't actively trying to win the game. Alebiosu needs to come on, or McLaughlin to move Miller.

Tavares the standout, Tyjon and Axel trying to play 1 touch football, both could have had better halves, but the intent is there, all three always turning forward. Haven't had a player the style of Tavares for years.
