It's utterly appalling.

IMO, our club is run by complete imbeciles.

We as fans have a choice.  Be bold and brave and ban Rovers and Ewood Park from your lives until we have new owners and executive management.

They aren't getting a penny out of me until they're all gone

I’ve always thought the LT were pretty sympathetic to the club and on the occasions they have been critical it has been entirely deserved. They are not a mouthpiece for the club ultimately. Feel for EJ as he has to thin line the tread between keeping the club onside and reporting the actual events which inevitably reflect poorly on the club. I hope the LT support him as he has a young family and doesn’t deserve to lose his job.

I am making a personal decision not to attend the Derby 150 game.  I am so disappointed with the club I have supported for 58 years.

The present regime at Ewood Park do not have the best interests of MY club at heart.  They are rogues.

Its  a heartbreaking decision Mike but one myself and thousands of fellow Blue n Whites understand and respect...we simply cant continue like this.

The damage continues unabaited and its totally deliberate.

I have posted similar in the 150 thread but with a bit more context.

Why has it taken so long for the club to ban the reporter over a tweet over Travis, which was made several weeks ago. I suspect the club have tried to get the LET to dismiss him and replace him with their own PR dept.

I think it’s the Travis stuff AND something else as the telegraph write up mentions Travis and also something that the club saw as untrue

I think it’s about Suhail refusing an interview or similar, either way it’s bizarre

Couldn’t agree more. This is not a free press issue, this is a club with integrity standing up to biased and misleading reporting often click bait motivated.

Constructive criticism is in thing but incendiary reporting is is not'

my head hurts.

Nothing galvanises journos more than one of their number being banned…

This...the fools really have scored a massive own Goal with this stupid decision, the national Media will not take kindly to it.

This will spectacularly backfire on Rovers they've poked a real hornets nest here and i hope the MSM take them to task.

They've ignorantly now shone the spotlight on themselves the bunch of clueless clowns.

This is what happens when you over promote nobodies, get rid of experience on all levels and employ an immature entitled fragile ego manchild to run the football dept.

These idiots genuinely think they are bigger than the club and given time it'll only end up one way for them eventually.

Fortunately, on twitter at least, the numpties like that are outnumbered 20 to1.

Jackson did refer to the Gestade bare arm incident at the training ground which Gestede has hotly denied. That story seems to have really got to him. Possibly what he was angling to sue Glen for as well?

Well, just when we thought things couldn't get any more sleazy.

What do the club expect to get from this other than negative publicity?

Another own goal by the regime.

It could well be that.

I think Glen knows and will no doubt clarify.

Had to hide a lot of posts to do with politics just now, (thanks for reporting, this bringing them to our attention) this is in spite of everyone knowing politics isn’t allowed on this side of the forum.

Posts have been hidden on this occasion, but next time it’ll be short bans.

Oh, come on!

‘Blackburn Rovers will always act to protect the values of professionalism, integrity and respect that underpin the club and the community it serves’
When were they planning on starting?

A further update (but nothing more there really), I listen to all his podcasts and I struggle to really pick out anything the club could object to.  All seemed eminently reasonable.

In a way its a good things as it shows how out of their depth they are. Need to get Winter to come in and do a deep dive piece for the nationals, linking it to the incoming football regulator and how to avoid these situations.

Anyone reached out to Winter on that front?

The doubling down would almost be unbelievable if we hadn't already had nearly 15 years of utter sh1te already.

As it stands now nothing at all surprises me any longer

Really hope Andy Bayes can get stuck in here and pick the scab that has seemingly formed over some wound that's been opened

The second statement seems to say that the club were annoyed about the reporting, also the leaking of team selections. At no point have they said that any of the reports were not true.

HOT NEWS!!

Andy Coulson, formerly of the News Of The World has been appointed to replace Elliot Jackson.

If that's true, Mike, I'm gobsmacked at the LET crumbling to the whims of a corrupt football club. Shame on them.

More likely Rovers have appointed him as their "press advisor" 😂
