Easily one of the worst games off football I've watched in years.

Positives - well its another clean sheet I guess? After that, I'm struggling.

Henriksson I was quite excited to see when we signed him but he's abysmal. Ohashi I'm starting to think has a drink problem or something he's that clueless sometimes, although looks decent on occasion.

They were marginally worse than us, but that's understandable when they didn't spend a penny in summer whereas we actively recruited/spent. Granted the 3 most expensive ones weren't playing tonight (alarming Tavares is one of them, Henriksson is 4th too).

Also, wtf are we doing with Tyion? Is he injured? It's hard to believe he isn't better than Henriksson of not?

We didn't invest in the summer - we cut the wage bill and made a tidy profit on incomings and outgoings.

Now I’ll look at it negatively.

Was that Wednesday’s first home clean sheet of the season?

Yes. Their other clean sheets were away to WBA & Portsmouth.

We were poor tonight and we created enough chances tonight to win the game that was their taken. We looked tired second half. Our pace pace and intensity dropped off after 20 mins

Cantwell had enough shots and didn't take them well enough given his quality. Ohashi and Baradji chances first half.

We need that striker in quickly need cos we missed Gudjohnsen tonight.

Pleased with another clean sheet and that's 3 in a row.

I like the formation - 3 clean sheets in a row is that? With Calamity in net as well.

No idea why they've frozen out the only other two CFs in our squad when Gudjohnsen is injured.

I thought Bannan was really poor today. A shadow of his former self.

Bannan has shit players around him but was the only player that made anything happen for the home side on the odd occasion. It was a piss poor game throughout.

Expecting Gueye to leave ASAP.

Badly worded perhaps, we 'spent' approaching 10m as opposed to £0

On the way home

Thoughts

Wednesday were truly awful. And so were we because we couldn’t beat them

Henrikkson would struggle in the semi pro game. Terrible. Ohashi, oh dear. We desperately need 2 new forwards

Lack of quality and pace right through the team. It’s going to be a long hard struggle to stay up

And Wrexham will win easily at Ewood on Jan 1

21st man tonight

If he's attracting all this constant interest from the likes of Arsenal he's surely worth some game time

As I said this morning Chaddy, we were never winning that 0 3. In all honesty, given we have such an abysmal record against poor teams on horrendous runs, I am just relieved that we didn’t get beat.

There’s just absolutely zero to be positive about heading into a new year. Nothing.

Somehow (and I’m far from convinced on this), avoid relegation. Then what?

Do it all again the season after with a lower wage bill until, inevitably, we don't.

No more injuries by the looks of it, which I suppose is something.

To be fair as well, this was a Wednesday team that drew their last game against a good Hull side. Hull beat Boro away tonight so go figure.

In the cold light of day this won't be a disaster.  Two more games to go before the fa cup when we can hopefully rest a few and also get a new striker in.

One of the most depressing things is with this team / manager there isn’t a fleeting moment when you believe we could score a late winner (or equaliser), we just exist towards the end of games occasionally conceding but never even remotely threatening.

Gudjonsson being injured has probably cost us 4 points in the last two games but we really missed the dynamism of Morishita tonight.

Tronstad red mist after reading too many Revidge Blue posts..

He did play for them.

I loved him BTW.

I loved him too. One of my all time favourite players...

As a teenager, I remember my response to a Burnley supporting mate's dad, who "claimed" him, as a former dingle.

Awful end for him too. Very sad.
