No and there is no reason they can give to justify why they don’t join. All I can tell them to do is join.

We now know WATR have now spent 5 years talking and talking and talking and talking to a guy who Venkys have just dismissed in 2 sentences.

Because some clown will make some monumental cock up at some point then try and cover it up.

It's absolutely amazing we didn't end up in trouble when they clearly had a 3rd party running the club in plain sight.  They'll not get away with it again and they've had Suhail hiding in the shadows running things but obviously he couldn't have a proper title for years due to whatever.

That kind of thing won't go unnoticed nor will the investigations in India, which so far hasn't involved the club, but how long before someone over here wants to investigate BRFC paperwork if some administrative cock up draws attention to the club.

Rovers isn't an India company so how could India investigations investigate Rovers paperwork. The owners aren't on the board of directors either. 

I don't know enough whether they could investigate over here in the UK or not. do you have knowledge of whether they could or not?

Of course it could be an issue if he doesn't know what he's doing, that's the whole point he isn't an experienced football administrator.

I was referring to if something goes wrong at this end due to poor or incorrect administration the football authorities will then become involved.

That's the danger of having novices running the show.

If there is any suspicion of money laundering, it could be investigated anywhere. 

There have been suggestions in the past, that the initial funds used to purchase the club, were not necessarily traceable. I don’t know if there is any truth in that, or if it was investigated properly.

Under SwagHail AND Broughton they couldn't get twp incoming signings involving good money over the line.

Benefit of doubt says they made cock ups although a lot would say there was more to it than that. However it still points to how amateur and odd it can still be behind the scenes at Rovers and now there is no real DoF nor experienced administrator in a CEO.

To go from that to the shadow boss and his tea boy is a recipe for disaster imo regardless of feelings towards Waggot.

They got away it seems with the training ground loopholes but what next if they are flailing around looking for short term money ?

It's those kind of cock ups that can become very expensive and lead to points penalties that's why clubs have to pay people like Waggot in the first place.

The actual statement announcing that WaTR will be working with the coalition. 
It is worth pointing out that the Football Supporters Association (FSA) has already reached out to WaTR to offer support and we also have access to the EFL given the club’s official Supporter Engagement Strategy is purported to be on the back of its relationship with the Trust via the Memorandum of Understanding.

Between this (Andy and Pete) and BRAG (Glen et al), that’s a lot of clout with the FSA and EFL.

Its over 2 years ago since I relinquished being Chair of the rebranded WATR...... before which we were trying hard to see if the newly stabilised Rovers(under Waggott and Mowbray) had any hope of being salvageable.

Steve Waggott is the scapegoat for not only the Womens Team but also the dwindling support(Adult Season-Tickets)

It is clear that the MoU needs suspending; the fight is as ever to get the Owners to sell their forgotten Subsidiary in the small Northern town.

It is clear the replacement for Waggott will probably be a new structure with promotions for Pasha, the Apprentice and the Ewood Express bus driver. Then the proverbial will hit the fan - and probably things will have to get worse before they get better.

There have been two instances in just the last 6 months when exciting Investors would and could have taken a lead on the many Commercial opportunities at the "most successful Town Club in the World" - both vetoed by Pasha on referral to India. We now know why the January signings were held up by the unwieldy "final permissions" process.

It is clear , like we suspected in the early days of Kean, that was added to by the era of Shelfy Shaw etc etc, that only a sale will regenerate OUR Club.

I welcome the WATR committee decision and statement.

This is what I am hoping. These idiots have their head in another planet, but still, support and hopefully some pressure from footballing bodies will put us in a much better position.

Feels like the end is still some way off, but it’s edging ever so slightly closer IMO.
