Crazy good feeling that, beating TM with exactly the mindset he was opposed to - giving young players a try.

That being said, football is crazy. A handful of times this season we've looked absolutely hopeless - yet here we are banging them in and at the top. Diaz has become an absolutely top class player, best striker in the league. Brings so much more to the team than Adam Armstrong. All that is positives. But having said that...if the ref gave Sunderland a penalty, would have been completely different game. Luck is just a massive part of football.

A good game thought both sides looked good and a bit of luck does help. We have to remember we are a very young side and can only get better. This team needs time to grow but the club at long last is looking to be heading in the right direction

Telling you now, if Sunderland had a decent manager they’d be up there. They have some quality players with a lot of pace.

Anyhow, a good performance, not seen us this solid at the back for a while. Diaz just gets better & better.

A win on Saturday would be perfect.

Their top scorer is out injured, isn't he ?
