Armchair supporter supremo
I can't imagine many of the current first team sticking around for division 1. Thats partly the problem of why we are where we are, We've a team of players that couldn't really care less about the actual club and would jump ship the minute an offer from a club offering more money and a touch of ambition came forward Maybe Telavovic might have something to offer in div 1 🤷♂️ Edited April 22 by Armchair supporter supremo

roversfan99
Markanday and especially Telalovic would struggle in league 1.
RTM08
Honestly, there will be few left and even fewer who will fluorish. O'Riordan perhaps? It will be hard for an attacker to stand out in Euselessball.
davulsukur
O'Riordan and Gilsenan, are my 2 bets. That's assuming the majority of the first team fuck off.

Hasta
Hyam. He will be like the League One Beckenbauer. As long as we don’t boo him.

superniko
My guess would be Hedges and JRC if they could stay fit and stay at the club. Markanday and Telalovic aren't even at league 1 level.

It’s how many of them would stop? We would still be woeful short up front even at that level.

AllRoverAsia
All those left from the squad v SW. They are L1 at best.
MarkBRFC
Anyone apart from Szmodics would have some neck to say they don't want to play in league one after there performances from December onwards.
AspRover
I think a better question might be who do we expect to still be here if we go down - I think in spite of how they've looked this year a fair number of our players would attract interest from championship clubs and let be honest Swag isn't exactly going to be turning down bids is he. Teams will look at last season and missing the playoffs on goal difference as much as this season. Pears JRC - Wharton - O'Riordan - Gent Garret - Buckley Hedges - Markanday - Gilsenan Leonard Bench of Barnes, Batty, Vale, Telalovic and some children? Something like that?
OJRovers
Buckley. The problem with a lot of the squad is the lack of pace. We'd still be caught out in L1 unless we make some signings.

It’s probably got more bottle. Hedges, Leonard and Gilsenan may well be better than recent pairings of Dolan, Gallagher and Moran / Ayari. I look at that team and the only real misses are Szmodics and Tronstadt. Edited April 23 by Hasta

tomphil
Brittain, Hedges, JRC, Markandy, Garrett, Pickering, Wharton should all be above average in league 1 consistently. Pears will still be Pears and Leo will shit bricks at the amount of hoofs and set pieces coming at him in that league. All the other pros will be gone and the rest of the youngsters have it all to prove, it will be a long hard winter for sure.
