lraC Posted March 9 Posted March 9 Looking at their position in the league and Saturdays opponents, is it too much to ask for 6 points and a confidence boost before the international break? Quote

Not sure they are keen on Ismael either tbh. Edited March 9 by SIMON GARNERS 194 1 Quote
sharpysharps86 Posted March 9 Posted March 9 2-1 Stoke. Gallagher goal absolutely nailed on. Another slow start I reckon, 2 nil down with Ohashi pulling one back for Rovers. For what it's worth, this is the team I'd go with: A Training Cone Brittain Carter Hyam Ribeiro Travis Tronstad Ohashi Cantwell Dennis Gueye Another depressing midweek evening in store. 2 Quote
roversfan99 Posted March 9 Posted March 9 We historically drop like a stone and get numerous poor results at this point in the season due to having a lack of depth and quality and also a lack of mental strength. I wouldnt "expect" a reaction. History tells us to expect to be disappointed. Is it 4 wins in 16 or 17 now? Quote
JHRover Posted March 9 Posted March 9 Have we ever beat a Mark Robins managed team? Certainly didn't in all the time he was at Coventry. Don't expect that to change. Quote

Once, a 4-0 win against Cov at St Andrews during Covid. Stoke 3 Rovers 0 Easiest 3 points they will ever have. 2 Quote

Pears has cost us too many games. Ok three points off play0ffs with a below average GD and team not turning up for multiple reasons for last 3 games, but still mathematically possible. 2 Quote

From what I have seen from Toth, I'm not convinced he is the answer tbh. A new number 1 keeper should have signed last summer 2 Quote

Toth gives me a heart attack every time the ball comes back to him, more than Pears last game looked incredibly nervous on the ball 3 Quote

Should let the young no. 3 keeper have a crack. If he played in any other position on the pitch he'd be getting some sort of chance 5 Quote
BankEnd Rover Posted March 9 Posted March 9 I'd start Dennis in this one...Then again I don't think we have any choice. Hate to be negative but, again, cant see us getting anything here...Others around us have really difficult games so it's a chance to close the gap. Quote
Andy Posted March 9 Posted March 9 If Ismael starts with Pears again in this one, it shows that he either has no bollocks or no functioning eyes. And if he does, we'll lose again. 1 Quote
davulsukur Posted March 9 Posted March 9 Zero confidence in this lot (that's players, management and coaching staff) to get anything here. 2-1 defeat, another piss poor performance from Rovers and probably a goal from Gallagher or Moran or both. 1 Quote
Proudtobeblue&white Posted March 9 Posted March 9 (edited) I was going to consider taking my youngest back to the Luton game as birthday present, but I think I'll buy him a an Aston Martin instead. He hasn't even got a licence. But it will look good outside the house, despite I can't afford the petrol. I gave up long ago. FUCK VENKYS, and what little they stand for. Andy Posted March 9 Posted March 9 Completely agree. We're past the point of different opinions or takes; he's clearly not competent enough and is actively costing us goals & games. Quote

Duru is out on loan, O'Riordan is out on loan, Batty is out on loan, Garrett is out on loan etc etc. We've had significant injuries in all of those areas and those youngsters haven't had a sniff.
