Sometimes wish I just didn’t care, pitiful result

i don`t care anymore tbh, nice if we win but after 15 years of indian degradement it does`nt matter does it,even if we go on a massive 20 game unbeaten run they`ll just destroy it come january

What was that?  Were we feeling sorry for ourselves that level of performance sees us relegated for sure, garbage all over the pitch.  To a man not good enough

I don't think there's much point in gloating about that, they're playing one of the best teams in the world and we're playing the 3rd best team in league one last season.

Was more of a softener for the expected banter of workmates etc.

6 points from 6 games so far, might have been 9 from 7 after last saturday, but it is pointing towards a relegation scrap, no question.

Tuesday feels like a must-win now.

Bad day at office. Poor performance. Created very little. Very different performance to the Ipswich game.

Feels sorry for those Rovers fans who travelled there and got sort of performance. Need a win on Tuesday

It’s been a mixed bag for sure but given the budget squad overhaul I think we’ve not been as rubbish as some expected. Unlucky to get nothing from the Birmingham game and historically unlucky against Ipswich. I do not think we are dead certs for relegation!

Did you just watch that?

The lack of quality combined with the manager shitting the bed is very worrying.

“It’s been a mixed bad for sure but given we deliberately made our squad shitter, I think we’ve not been as shit as some expected”.

Yeah. Great.

Also we came 7th last year. Of course we shouldn’t be dead certs for relegation. We shouldn’t really be in danger of relegation.

Got to blame the manager for that pathetic performance, players out of position, wrong subs etc.,

Team didn't seem up for it either, I don't think they respect the fella.

Be lucky if there are 6,000 on Ewood on Tuesday after that.

I wish they had to give the actual attendance.

Zero squad depth and we're apparently relying on Ohashi and Hedges to bring the magic up top.

Better hope Gudjohnsen is an absolute beast. We're going to need him to step up. Cantwell too, but not convinced he has it in him to perform well for 50% of our matches, let alone the majority of them.

Well yes. Something like that. We are not as bad as I expected and are likely to struggle but dead certs for relegation we are not and as usual people make dramatic apocalyptic predictions after a bad defeat. Please don’t mistake me for a happy clapper, I’m appalled at what the club has become but on the pitch I don’t think we’ve been terrible (until today).

Gardner-Hickman looked good against Ipswich in the middle. VI thinks, hey I know let's stick him at fullback.

We pretty much played that game without fullbacks.

The team is massively different from last season, so that nulls last seasons comparison.

Have to give some credit to Charlton in a poor game. They made the right changes, got Ismael sussed out and never looked worried.

Why oh why he needs to change formation and tactics everytime we make a sub is beyond me, but today we needed like-for-like changes. Guess he’ll blame it on the injury to Alebiosu, but we needed Gudjohnsen to come on to complement the build-up play we had and not completly change the way we play the game.

For all the skill and tactics in modern football, it so frequently comes down to effort and desire. Today we seemed to lack any of that.

What’s more troubling is there was no improvement with changes, in fact the substitutes seemed to lower the effort level. If we’re without Carter and now Alebiosu the very predictable shortsightedness of the transfer window is going to come home to roost. And well before the busy festive period most expected.

Because he's not done his homework.

Really hope Abeliousu is not out for the next game. We really need him. As soon as he went off we couldn't get out at all.

Reckon Miller would be able to do it but for some reason its a legal requirement for one of our CBs to be right footed...

He played him in midfield, only moving him to full back after the injury.

Did you miss an hour ?

What a pathetic display. Struggling badly to even get out of our own half while 1-0 down against a poor side. A lot of poor performances but Tavares deserves a dishonorable mention.

He is so lazy and/or poor defensively. When he is on the pitch the opponents tend to just run through our midfield at will.

Well… I’ve never looked forward to reading an Elliott Jackson match report until today!

That was absolutely dreadful. 3-0 flattered us. Charlton squandered loads of really good chances. They absolutely bullied us, particularly second half. No positives to be taken out of that shit show.

Hopefully Forshaw is fit soon as I genuinely think he makes our strongest 11. What a testament to Gestede’s recruitment.
