RevidgeBlue Posted August 22, 2015 Posted August 22, 2015 It's like a cruel parody. Only one attacking option on the bench. Far too negative. The two that fell ill were defensive type players as well so cant use that as an excuse either.
Mike Graham Posted August 22, 2015 Posted August 22, 2015 IT IS ONLY THE EARLY PART OF THE SEASON. THERE IS ALWAYS NEXT WEEK. WE CANNOT GET ANY WORSE. THE PIES WILL ARRIVE ON TIME. GARY WILL GET THEM BACK ON THEIR WINNING WAYS. WE WILL GIVE BURNLEE AND PKE A ROYAL SCREWING OVER. SHEBBY IS COMING BACK. LIFE IS A BALL. WE WILL GET PROMOTED. Find me a hospital quick.
Neal Posted August 22, 2015 Posted August 22, 2015 I asked this question a few days ago but are people STILL willing to bite their tongue for this fella? Has to go.
broadsword Posted August 22, 2015 Posted August 22, 2015 Betfair odds on championship relegation: Fulham 1/100 Rovers 1/14 preston 1/12
patrickvalery Posted August 22, 2015 Posted August 22, 2015 Is it any wonder really. The entire spine of the side is new except the Hanley / Duffy partnership which never got going anyway. New keeper, new central midfield, new striking partnerships and even a new formation. It will take time to gel. But I'll admit things don't look at all rosy at present. If the rot sets in it takes a very good manager to turn it all around. That or a new one. Not good times.
Don Said Posted August 22, 2015 Posted August 22, 2015 Dross. Carry on as we are and we'll go down, we won't be able to scrap our way out of a relegation battle. A 60 min presentation on my left arse cheek would inspire the players more than our manager. Go a goal behind against Bolton on Friday (conceded first in all 5 games this season..) and it'll be ugly towards Gazzy. Bowyer Out.
SIMON GARNERS 194 Posted August 22, 2015 Posted August 22, 2015 Just Two points from Twelve....Relegation form and this whole situation at the club is hard to swallow for me,very depressing. We just keep bumbling on....
adopted scouser Posted August 22, 2015 Posted August 22, 2015 Bowyer out, right out. Out further than anyone's been out before.
Backroom Tom Posted August 22, 2015 Backroom Posted August 22, 2015 Full time 4 games in, 2 point and in the bottom 3 and a home loss to a league one side in the mix as well So many poor choices today; whoever is to blame for only taking 18 players down wants sacking immediately. Resorting to bringing on a defender for an attacking mid then sticking the big lad up top if mms what I would expect from under 12s. Bizarre.
perthblue02 Posted August 22, 2015 Posted August 22, 2015 A few comments today on RR commentary about the confusion on where players are supposed to be playing, players not shooting longish range (perhaps they have been told not to) and general confusion about tactics
Damien Posted August 22, 2015 Posted August 22, 2015 His tactics are dreadful! We lack direction and hope!
G Somerset Rover Posted August 22, 2015 Posted August 22, 2015 Absolutely pathetic. He has to go. Maybe a loss to Bolton at home in front of the cameras will finally turn the rest of the nay-sayers round.
Mr. E Posted August 22, 2015 Posted August 22, 2015 The name "Bowyer" is making me ill at this point, can he please go back to coaching kids and stop embarrassing the football pitch with his presence.
adopted scouser Posted August 22, 2015 Posted August 22, 2015 563 rovers fans. 562, SteB counts as two
Backroom DE. Posted August 22, 2015 Backroom Posted August 22, 2015 If Jordan Rhodes is sold we're down. No question in my mind. If he stays and manages to keep fit we may scrape survival as there are a lot of poor teams in this division, but it'll be close, and things will only get worse as long as Venky's are here and the Shelfy/Bowyer combo is at the helm.
grizfoot Posted August 22, 2015 Posted August 22, 2015 Is it too early to say next Friday's game against Notlob is now a relegation "six-pointer"?
broadsword Posted August 22, 2015 Posted August 22, 2015 Dross. Bowyer Out. Exactly, we're not equipped to get out of a relegation battle. I think we'll end up with a draw against Bolton and a draw against Fulham. 4 points from a possible 18. Then we've got QPR away, can't see us winning that, either. Charlton at home, well, not there, either. Unless the manager goes, it's the 'R' word methinks. The signs are there.
G Somerset Rover Posted August 22, 2015 Posted August 22, 2015 Is it too early to say next Friday's game against Notlob is now a relegation "six-pointer"?Not at all. I alluded to as much at the start of this thread. Huge game. Lose and we're goosed.
Mercer Posted August 22, 2015 Posted August 22, 2015 Hope Parsonblue and the band of Rovers Fans are still happy with the stability and progress Gaz has brought. FFS, our club is dying and Bowyer is hastening our death.
