A) Concerning good fee's, I think your wrong as before Jerome took a cut we got 3.5 million for N'Zonzi now rated at 28 million whilst the following has also happened under there watch;

Rudy Gestede - 6 million - 1 year later sold for 7 after an unproductive spell at Villa.

Ruben Rochina - 400k - Aquired for 400k + 1.6 million agents fee, sold by Grenada for 10 million to Rubin Kazan.

Josh King - 1 million - Let his contract go down until weeks before it ended sold to Bournemouth for 1 million, easily 4-5 million worth now.

Nikola Kalinic - 6 million - few years down the line sold to China for 38.5 million.

Martin Olsson - 2 million - Linked with various clubs in the past from Norwich for 5 million +

Tom Cairney - 3.5 million - Now linked with a 10 million move away.

Yakubu - 1 million - Sold after scoring 20 premier league goals for 1 million.

Scott Dann - 1.5 million - Sold to Palace, became solid under a proper manager, linked with Everton for 10+ and an England cap.

Can we approach a Chinese club, and tell them a super player called Jason Lowe? Midfield enforcer, good in the tackle and captain. Only £60mill

Swansea City are awaiting a bid from Owen Coyle and Blackburn Rovers for on-loan forward Marvin Emnes as they look to offload the Dutchman, according to the South Wales Evening Post.

The 28-year-old is entering the last six months of his contract at the Welsh club and it appears that Paul Clement and Swansea City are hoping to recoup some form of transfer fee, rather than allowing him to leave for free in the summer.

Marvin Emnes spent the first half of the season on loan at Blackburn Rovers, making twenty Championship appearances which resulted in three goals and three assists for Owen Coyle’s side.

Owen Coyle has stated his ambition to sign Marvin Emnes on a permanent basis and a dialogue has opened between Swansea City and Blackburn Rovers, but the Lancastrian side has yet to place a bid for the Dutchman.

It is expected that Blackburn will make a bid imminently for Emnes as they attempt to ward off any potential fellow suitors.

Looks like Swansea haven't got the memo about pot and pi33.

Sounds like a plan!

Something akin to this maybe? ... http://waterfordwhispersnews.com/2017/01/06/@#/?-5-a-side-player-signs-e15-million-contract-with-chinese-soccer-club/

So Nixon is apparently claiming that Rovers are preparing to sell John O'Sullivan to a League One club in January.

Presumably his is another contract/wage that needs to be shed before Coyle can even contemplate bringing anyone else in, even on loan.

I also don't think it is a coincidence that Connor Thompson and Jack Doyle suddenly get improved contract extensions once Jack Byrne and Stephen Hendrie are out the door.

In the case of Doyle it's pretty sensible to be honest. Hendrie was awful and Williams appears steady.

No idea about Thompson, regardless of his deal the whole CM could do with re-enforcing ffs.

Wharton has to wait for Marshall to leave?

The ratio of wages to turnover has to be reduced. As unpalatable as it seems, this is what the Venky's and reduced crowds has brought about.

That ratio was always high, even in the PL, but because of the level of turnover and the elevated level of player value in the PL, the ratio was much more controllable. The best way to deal with this problem always has been - and still is, for very rich owners to invest in the clubs management structure and in the clubs players, rather than throwing money at the mounting debt coupled with falling turnover.

I thought that's why we sold to Venkys in the first place.

It never seems to reduce much though despite getting big earners off the books. As long as they keep changing coaching staff, managers and directors and whoever else it'll never go down much because they all continue to be paid off for years and adding to the clubs debt.

It remains the biggest cause for concern but it's parr for the course with these lot who began burning a huge hole into an already stretched ratio from the very moment they and their partners arrived. It's an area of deep suspicion to me !

The only real way to get the club back on a sound footing is inject enough to pay off whats owed to those gone then write the whole lot off. Then concentrate on restructuring the wages left on a sensible annual budget and managing the external debt. No good selling players and big earners on one hand then wasting those savings and income on the other, another hallmark of this regime.

Venkys won't do that though because now we seem to be a handy accounting tool for them with losses absorbed over the corporation quite easily and presumably to some benefit to them. In short this situation that keeps the club in limbo seems to suit them. I'd love to see a detailed breakdown of where those wages actually go............

Ridiculous that he couldn't even get near Top 6 with that squad.

That's why I wasn't sorry to see him go. If Venkys had backed Lambert it would be a very different story.

We weren't far off. And most of those players Bowyer bought on the cheap. Not a Stella performance but looks better every year that goes by.

He's been our best manager since Coco by a long chalk. I liked Lambert but to be honest he left before really doing anything of concequence. Our win loss record didn't change much, and none of his signings (apart from Graham) made an impact.

We make a bigger deal now more than ever about kids signing new contracts; as though it's having some kind of impact on that he first team. We did it in the summer too and the official site continues to post articles/ interviews with them for days after to help cover up the non existent transfer deals at a key time when they should be happening. What a sorry club.

I'd be amazed if we get a fee for O'Sullivan. He's hardly been a star while he's been out on loan has he ?

Bingo !

It's all we have to cling to now as the days of a squad full of lads on a grand pwk in the lower leagues moves ever closer.

Noticed Sharpe tweeted this last night re: O'Sullivan: https://twitter.com/richsharpe89/status/819262169602813952

Looks like they're hoping to loan him out wherever as he's well down the depth chart winger-wise. Doesn't seem like Accrington's asked to extend the loan. We'd probably be lucky to get any fee for him, so just a matter of getting as much of his remaining wages off the books. Apparently he's out of contract at the end of this year.

He could have Messi, Ronaldo and Greizmann lined up ready to sign for £5 million and £15,000 a week each. Chances of Venkys sanctioning any fee or wage without sales first are zero.

Who cares what's best for the club or survival?

We are supposed to have a guy now to speed up that process ffs! Another farce as all he'll be doing is ringing around his contacts trying to get a few out before trying to get hold of the owners to say he's made room for a few in.

Then he'll be waiting like everyone else for a reply.

With corruption and brown envelopes rumored to be at almost every level of the game, you have to ask yourself what part certain journalists play in unsettling players, leaking stories, pushing up the value of players, and how they get 'sorted' out by managers/chairmen/agents and players in the game.

The games rotten to the core.

Given the article last week stated coyle was yet to speak to the owners concerning what the budget is for January then within a week we are signing 3?

Doesn't sound right especially the time period and the fact we could be lining up these players without any budget!
