You see Rothwell picking the ball up from the back four and pinging accurate passes about playing centrally - he looks like a PL CM. How you spend two years shoving him out wide left because he can dribble a little bit and he reminds you of Benrahma is beyond me. Criminal mismanagement. 

Then you watch the next 85 minutes and he's anonymous. Rothwell is absolutely miles away from being consistent enough to play PL.

He has technique and a few of the dark arts up his sleeve. Puts him well ahead of the lumbering Gallagher..

He really isn't. One of the best 18 year old defenders I have seen. He will play PL and at a higher placed team than say , Tosin. I would take him over Lenihan right now.

We were linked with Østigård (the player with the disallowed goal) in the summer. Shame we didn't sign him, pretty sure he would be fit and a better option than Branthwaite/Ayala.

Not sure what you are seeing, he looks lost. In my opinion, Tosin was much better than Branthwaite
