roversfan99 Posted March 2 Posted March 2 Derby are crap, we have to be winning this game. We need to really attack them, Weimann is a goal threat and perhaps deserves a start but especially away from home, is often invisible when he does start. Him and Hedges in the same starting 11 would feel quite negative. As a Rovers fan though having seen it all before, a drab loss wouldnt surprise many. 4 Quote
philipl Posted March 2 Posted March 2 If the players have any professional pride, they will be totally up for this. Eustace is a good manager but doesn't have the players. I expect them to be highly motivated but if both sides play to their maximum, Rovers have this. Dennis being suspended and Buckley out till the break makes team selection a bit more straightforward for Ismael. Quote

Weimann is a goal threat plus with Gueye starting we need Ohashi to replace him after 60/70 mins. Similar with Kargbo for obvious reasons and as we withess yesterday about 70 mins is about the peak before they need replacing Quote

Andy Posted March 2 Posted March 2 Derby are shit and it's one that we should be winning. But the most Rovers thing imaginable will be a 1-0 Derby win, with Ryan Nyambe scoring his first ever goal, deep into injury time. We know from experience that Eustace will go into this home game with a negative 'just don't lose' mentality, so the best plan is to keep it tight and don't give away any soft opportunities for them. If we can do this, our (relative) quality will eventually show. 4 Quote
Upside Down Posted March 2 Posted March 2 Easy home win and Eustace to kick start their survival run. Next season Derby will be challenging for the playoffs as Rovers get relegated. 1 Quote

BankEnd Rover Posted March 2 Posted March 2 (edited) Sadly, like most, I can see Derby getting the 3 points. As we know, Eustace will set them up to frustrate us, we know his teams don't concede many...Then the sucker punch comes. We simply cannot loose this one. Edited March 2 by BankEnd Rover 1 Quote

But Derby are there to be attacked. Probably go with Gueye with Ohashi just off him. Kargbo left so the question mark is wide right. Weimann often struggles from the start especially away from home. Hedges doesnt offer anything. Dolan deserves dropping and ACD has been a poor signing. Quote
Waggy76 Posted March 2 Posted March 2 I can see it being a difficult afternoon. But I said that at Sunderland last Easter.. You never know, we might pull a rabbit out of the hat again.. Or 5! Quote
RoversTilliDie Posted March 2 Posted March 2 Let's not throw in the towel with 11 games to go, we've still got as much chance as any of the other clubs in the race for the play offs. 1 Quote

They need to start winning - they're already 4 points from safety and have played a game more than Hull in 21st. They're 7 points off Cardiff in 20th. 1 Quote
