blueboy3333
Probably the first real test of our top-half Championship credentials, if we have some. Brentford are, by all accounts, very good. A progressive club with link to clubs in Iceland and Denmark they seem to unearth some quality players from far and wide. Alan Judge is still there but |I'm not sure he's back to being a starter after his injury. Watkins, the lad they signed from Exeter, will be one to watch - a big striker with pace and an eye for goal, just like we need. Not sure if their other main goalscorer Maupay is banned this Saturday. Last three matches against them at Ewood in Championship have ended in a 3-2 win, a 3-2 defeat and a 1-1 draw. Last time at Ewood, a DG brace, hopefully a good omen:- Bradley Walsh was a pro there in the 70's but never played. That's as funny as Brentford, or this post, will get. They have a fans forum: http://www.griffinpark.org/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=3 If anyone has footage of Jason Lowe kicking the ball out of play at Brentford (the day we went down)| while trying to get it under control that would be terrific. No idea who is fit, or if Rodders will play, but this could be a very tough game. A win would be great but with our walking wounded and lack of strength in depth up front a draw might be a good result. 1-1 with a crowd of 12,314. COYB! Tyrone Shoelaces
I'd rather be playing this away really. We seem to be set up better for away games. I'll reserve my prediction until I see the team.

1864roverite
This will be tough. Brentford are fast defensively solid and that might cause a weakened Rovers team some real problems.

@roverseas
Well confidence still high amongst the Rovers camp, and with the news that Brentford forward Maupey is out that changes things slightly. Still got to keep Watkins under control, HUGE player for them. Win this and we should give ourselves a big pat of the back as it will be MASSIVE test for Rovers to see where we are likely to finish this season. I think with their current form, be content on coming away with our unbeaten streak still in tact. Take from that what you will.
JacknOry
My prediction, we gonna nick it 2-1 after going a goal behind int he first half.

tomphil
Whenever Brentford crop up the FA cup and league cup games from young days spring to mind, both those times we were a division or so above and should've had the beating of them but both times we lost. Then of course relegation day recently sealing the departed Coyles utter mess I won't be forgiven for thinking they are a bogey side. They've done fantastic to get established in the Championship being one of the smaller clubs but it's not a game I look forwards to. Another draw to add to the early collection in a swings and roundabouts game, us going in front then ending up behind. Ossydave
A lot depends on the team news really but I'd be disappointed if we didn't at least get a draw.

Pretty sure Dack will be back (hopefully) Again, without those two, we are looking very thin in areas, Conway getting in for a big example. afootballfan
I do hope we play with 3 in the middle of the park after the second half on Tuesday, want to see more of Rothwell there!

Reading between the lines of Mowbray's interview, it's looking like we're probably not going to be risking Dack, so you'll probably get your wish with Graham, Palmer & Bennett as the front 3.
