Backroom Silas Posted August 31 Backroom Posted August 31 What would this net us? Close to an extra £20 million. (I know I know, before anyone says): Quote
Darrenbot Posted August 31 Posted August 31 The way Man City have started the season i can see them paying that. Quote

Wing Wizard Windy Miller Posted August 31 Posted August 31 Off injured. He's not getting that cap this month. Quote

BankEnd Rover Posted August 31 Posted August 31 (edited) I fear Wharton maybe the next Jack Wilshere...Incredible talent but injuries will get the better...So unlucky. Edited August 31 by BankEnd Rover Quote
roverandout Posted August 31 Posted August 31 Was it an impact injury or a pull up. I just saw him go down Quote
Uddersfelt Blue Posted August 31 Posted August 31 No contact from what I saw. Perhaps a calf injury? 1 Quote

Horrible club, I hope they get relegated. Edited August 31 by Exiled_Rover Quote

Horrible club, I hope they get relegated. Eh? We were willing to force him out to anyone willing to take him even when he didn't want to, and he's been playing (when fit) regular PL football and won a major trophy. This is entirely on our owners and no one else. 22 Quote

Horrible club, I hope they get relegated. It is perhaps a tad disingenuous, as Mr RTMO8 suggests, but then again, football is a horrible business, full stop. As much as we may feel aggrieved that Adam has matured into his status as a football hot property, it has taken place under Palace's roof, and we never had an icecube in hell's chance of enabling him to develop to the level he has reached, due in spades to the incompetent, short-sighted, non-football savvy and genuinely disinterested in anything that is in the best long term interests of Blackburn Rovers ownership and management arrangements at the club. Palace are just fortunate to have had decent business people who are passionate about football holding the reins for the past 20 years plus, whilst we have been hamstrung by bewlidered, befuddled, remote, retarded owners who know about as much about football as Donald Trump knows about diplomacy and discretion. They didn't steal Adam Wharton - we THEY gave him away cheap. Edited August 31 by Old Codger Fixed that... fecking spreadsheet chicken shit arseclowns 13 Quote
roverandout Posted August 31 Posted August 31 This is not on Palace. Well done to them for taking a chance on him when others dithered. Wee duggy takes credit (that part is just a wind up) the only ones to blame are venkys 9 Quote

Whether the % is accurate I wouldn't bet my house on. 1 Quote

I absolutely reckon that JDT/Broughton/Wharton could’ve been a perfect storm for promotion if they’d had the backing Mowbray had. 5 Quote
